looking at SB winners, season point differential is not always a sure indicator

nothing is a sure thing. But point differential and DVOA are both very highly correlated with SB participants and winners. Cowboys rank extremely highly in both. Which means nothing, other than they’re one of the best teams in the nfl with a legitimate shot.
