Best Steakhouse in Dallas

I would also go to Mia's Mexican Restaurant which is not far from Bob's it is a real cowboy piece of history. Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson conspired to take the NFL by storm the day before he officially purchased the Cowboys.

spot.

Well, we've actually seen them there...but only once... already.
And then a month later actually Dak ( in print or radio) said that Tony had been good enough to take him out for steak to Nick & Sam's . As a late 4th rounder, Dak's budget is abit slimmer than most of the guys.
My buddy knows the manager there, and he says it's not a one-off thing.

The certainly don't hang out. That would be Zeke and Dak.
Did see Zeke about a month ago uptown with a group, but Dak wasn't with him that night.

Thats good to hear, it sounds like the type of thing Tony would do and I suspect he's been helpful and supportive of Dak despite the circumstances

Nick and Sam's it is since everyone else wants to be closed on Sunday which I don't get.

My 2 brothers and my father are going to the playoff game and we would like to have Dallas best steak in town after the game. Where do we need to go? Thanks
Are you staying in Dallas, Ft Worth, or Arlington?

Anyway, sounds like Bob's is out if it has to be on Sunday night.

Nick & Sam's should be great.

I am staying in Bedford. I don't understand why these places are closed on Sundays. I suppose business isn't good on game day.

Well, several of the top ones are open on Sunday...just not Bob's.
Many would pick Nick and Sams or Al Beirnat's anyway. You'd be splitting hairs choosing. Morton's is also open.
They have the Del Frisco's Double Eagle in downtown Ft Worth. That may be easier if you're staying in Bedford, depending on how much you mind driving.

I'd rather not do a chain restaurant. So I think Nick and Sam's is a good pick. But I haven't decided if I'm getting uber or renting a car. But I made reservations at 8:30 Sunday so that should give me time to get back to the hotel and rest after the game and then go and celebrate the win (hopefully) and eat!

Great choice!

As already mentioned, Cowboys go to Nick and Sam's. It's crazy expensive. Took my lady for her Birthday and we dropped $200..

The valet lot was full of exotic cars..

Doesn't one have to go to Austin to get the best?
That's what I'm told. I'm going to Austin and then Dallas for the NFCCG, and my buddy keeps raving about Franklin's, tells me I have to go every time I see him.

I liked Pecan Lodge in Dallas a lot though.

Franklin's has amazing ribs. Brisket is excellent as well although you can find better brisket here. Don't get me wrong, you'll love their brisket but I prefer La Barbecue for brisket.

Another favorite of mine is Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ. It's a food truck, but it is absolutely amazing...

All in all, this area has great barbecue...

Is it a requirement that the steakhouse be in Dallas? If not I can highly recommend the Old Hickory Steakhouse which is located in the Gaylord Texan hotel. That is the hotel that the Cowboys stay in on the night before a home game and it in Grapevine.

Bobs is great. Never had anything but a spectacular experience there

All this.

Brown's is another food truck that rocks. Mickelthwait is good too if you don't want to wait at Franklin's or La Barbecue
