Because if we needed to rely on Martellus, or Roy E. for clutch plays we'd be in trouble... watching the game today I haven't seen enough progress from these two... very disappointed...

Even if those guys were playing better, losing Witten or Austin would be devastating. We've been pretty much blessed this season healthwise and I hope it continues. I haven't given up hope on Marty B or Roy. I've seen enough flashes of brilliance (especially from Roy) to keep me hoping.

Great point. Let's all hope we don't lose our best players, on either side of the ball.

While you are hoping you may as well throw Romo and Ware in there as well.

Yeah, lets hope two of our best offensive weapons don't get hurt... I think I was doing that already.

:p:

Rather than worry about someone getting hurt, I would prefer someone else step up.

I'm confused as to the meaning of this thread. Wouldn't we as fans, already hope this? I mean did it need it's own thread?

If so, then I missed something or I was going outside the bounds of fandom as I was hoping for this prior to this edict.

Witten had 117 yards today... very impressive, but not surprising. Best TE the Cowboys have ever had--better than Novacek.

Dude, every game and situation is different from week to week..

So if Miles goes down, Hurd/Ogletree must step up. And I absolutely believe they could.

Besides, Tony throws it them already. Same with Witten, MartyB and Phillips will step up.

It could DEFINITELY be much worse.
