I need to check into his age etc, but he sure seems to be one hell of a blocker, very solid special teams player, and can catch and run pretty good for a tank too.
I think FB was a weakness for us this year particularly in blocking blitzes and for RB's. Polite might be super smart and strong in weight room, but the instincts seem to be lacking out on field somehow. This area could really use an upgrade and would help for relatively small money (how much are old style FB's).
Isn't Washington in Cap trouble, maybe this guy is a casualty but I highly doubt it.
We need someone in this mold, even if everyone says Fullbacks are a dying breed. Sorry but JJ is not a guy that breaks a lot of tackles, he is great in space and knifing through holes and we need someone to help create those holes.
