JJ Arcega Whiteside instead of Metcalf and Jalen Reagor instead of Justin Jefferson jumps to mind.

Spending a first round pick on a 2 down, part time DT isn’t smart… but trading up and using 4 picks to take a guy who doesn’t effect the QB just because he ran fast for a fat guy, is just dumb.

He can afford to make mistakes since he hits on a lot of picks 2-7. It’s almost as if he doesn’t research the first round as much as the other rounds. The offensive line for them the upcoming year will have a 1st, two 2nd’s, a 6th, and a 7th round pick starting. Not bad.
