I just ran into Bill Belichick and his wife at the Stamford mall. (Actually, a restaurant outside the mall) For someone who comes off very standoffish, he and his wife were pleasent.

He was pretty cool, though not real talkitive, but then I am not either around people I don't know. My wife on the otherhand.. :laugh2:

I've heard from a friend of mine in Boston that he's shown up at Celtic games with a hot Blonde from time to time. Think she's a girlfriend.

Only famous person I met that I was in awe of was Pat Riley.

Everyone else, as long as it's casual and natural, they will respond likewise.

And I have met tons of them over the years.

We were standing in the lobby of a restaurant and my wife made a comment and the woman he was with responded. From there we just chit chatted for 2-3 minutes until we were seated. For the most part the woman he was with was the chatty one though he did talk also. I didn't even bring up football, though it was clear to them we knew exactly who he was. (referring to him as Bill is probably what did it)

Living in NY and lower Connecticut, I come across celebrities a lot more often than I did living in Texas. (especially if you are on Greenwich Ave) From what I've seen, the only people that harass them here is mainly tourist. Well, unless you are popular with kids/teens. Then all hell breaks loose.

The only reason I brought it up was this is a football board.
