I mean he can really help rebuild a team. But coach it? It would seem, not.

He coached the Pats out of a SB victory. He coached the Jets out of a AFC championship. He coached the boys out of playoffs -one and done. Missed the next year. May miss this year.

I kinda like that idea, sans bringing in his retreads although they are just about all gone now.
Don't know if Parcells could handle it though, especially if a strong-willed coach was brought in.

He can pick the RB, DL, TE and LBs. I don't want him going anywhere near the OL, though.

Well who "coached" those teams to even get them in a position to play in those games to begin with?

Did they coach themselves for the first 17 or 18 games of the year.. only to turn it over to Bill at the end and have him blow it?

FWIW-Shanahan buys all the groceries in Denver.

AND-his talent in picking the D(sans Champ) hasn't been very great though.

DESPITE all this-the Broncos still continue to play great D(in addition to their great O) every year.

Why can't we play more consistently?

This moaning and groaning about Coach Parcells on this board is getting old, tired and more ignorant by the minute.

The players are the ones who came out flat, listless and unmotivated.

These are professionals. If they need an all-time great coach to fire them up instead of prepare them, then they are losers.

Coach Parcells biggest mistake this past week was saying he "liked them".

The same syndrome happening two years ago after he broke down after the Carolina win.

He should have rode them like dogs all week.

This team still has a veteran core than comes up lame when it counts. Up and down the line, the players that let us down yesterday were the veterans, not the rookies. It is time they are accountable. They haven't been all year.

Bringing in the retreads is the real problem. Because it helps the younger players. Its his arrogance and insistance on not letting a young gun play when he should.
