Bill Simmons almost done w/ ESPN?

Apparently he got suspended from twittering for 2 weeks for retaliating against an ESPN partner radio station. He sounded pissy about the whole thing.

Simmons used to be a breath of fresh air, but lately hes been a chode. Going somewhere else would make him much more interesting.

What would make him much more interesting would be to actually sit down behind a keyboard rather than mailing in podcasts 3 times a week. He himself admitted to doing so and a gift for drawing you into a casual conversation within his articles is being lost.

Yeah I love his writing, but I can't put up with those podcasts.

His book sucked. He should stay with ESPN if only to fight off irrelevancy. And yes, I am still a fan and a reader. But it's true.
