Did anyone else get their beta and download it last night? I downloaded it late last night and got a couple of hours into the beta...it seems pretty dang good so far from very early impressions.

I was just curious who else might be giving this a go for the next week or so on PS4.
 
How are you able to download the beta? I would check it out.
 
You had to pre-order the game prior to the beta starting. If you did then they would have emailed you a code to put in at the Playstation store and you can download it.

Now if you want to play the beta on Xbox 1 you still have time cause theirs starts in a few days. You put some pre-order money down and then you'll get an email with the code the day the beta starts.

Bummer (will buy it but not pre-ordering; get used after a couple weeks on Amazon).
 
Prefer teh COD games on Xbox more than PS systems. Though the Pay 2 Play PSN may be an improvement over the free PSN.

PSN shuts down way too often (hacked), but outside of that, it is a smoother interface to navigate. Thought I read that competitive COD will be exclusive to PS4? Agree with you on FPS preference going towards the xbox controller. Will get one now due to the backwards compatibility feature.
 
No beta but I'll probably get the game. The FPS world needs a new face. I'd even prefer a WWII shooter at this point.

I can't speak much on the system prior to the PS4, as I didn't really dabble to much in PS3 online. I was an Xbox guy at the time. I know I have had no real issues with the online part on my PS4.

I will say this though. You don't have nearly as many people talking in CoD lobbies on PS as you do Xbox. Which is both good and bad. The good part is less *******s in general.

I have noticed though on PS4, as opposed to when I played on Xbox, that the ones who do talk are generally way more cool people. Maybe I've just been lucky in that but on Xbox the vast majority of people you ran into were mouthy people who always wanted to flex their online muscles.

The PS4 has been out for almost 2 years now and I've only lost time on it 1 time due to a hacker. It was down for about a day or two when that happened. That does suck,. for sure, as it's the one thing that I never experienced with Xbox 360.

I am thinking about eventually getting an Xbox 1 as well, for the backwards compatibility and for a few of the exclusive titles.

As far as controller I thought I'd hate the PS4 cause it seems so small compared to the Xbox controllers but I've found I like that SOOOOOO much more. The PS4 controller is just so much lighter than the Xbox ones.

Would have preferred a return to the WWII era, or even the modern era, but from the play on this beta at least the game plays like a CoD game again and is fun. It's face paced. I've enjoyed it.

Ghosts and AW all but killed CoD for me with their slow and terrible game play.

I like the touchpad on the PS4 w/o a doubt. I just miss the placing of the two joysticks as it just seems more natural in my hand. But for fight/sports games, PS4 would still be the preference.

Not too many talkers on XBL but there are the asshats that feel the whole lobby should put up with their musical choices.
 
Well they made the beta available to everyone over the weekend and then extended the beta a couple of extra days so....thoughts on it?

Will anyone here be picking the game up? If so anyone on the pS4?

I'll be looking for folks to team up with when the game comes out so I'm interested to see if anyone else enjoyed it and was planning on playing it or not.
 
Saw they've included last stand again but renamed it "Rejack". Pick yourself up and don't even lose your kill streaks.

Catering to the same demographic (grade school children) they have been for the past 3 to 5 games. Guess if people will keep buying it and just give you money for producing crap, why not just produce crap then?
