I'm absolutely livid with the Cowboys' latest loss. Jerry Jones is dragging this team down as the worst GM in the NFL. Sure, the players and coaches have their faults, but the real issue is Jerry and his son Stephen Jones.

They claimed they were all in this season, yet signed Elliott, who's been a complete disaster. Why is he still getting more carries than Dowdle? It’s infuriating that Elliott is still on this team. They could have Derrick Henry would have fixed some of our running game woes.

The coaching has been a train wreck. McCarthy will probably be the scapegoat, but his performance has been downright awful. This is on Jerry for setting him up to fail. McCarthy can’t run a modern offense to save his life. He needs to be fired asap.

Zimmer is overrated. I hated this hire from day one. Dan Quinn would have done a better job. Zimmer and McCarthy are stuck in the past, and keeping them around is just plain foolishness. Promoting Al Harris would’ve been smarter.

And let’s talk about Prescott’s ridiculous contract. Who agrees to a no-trade/no-tag clause? Only Jerry. At 60 million a year, Prescott is nothing more than average.

If Jerry holds on to Zimmer, he’s a fool. This organization is spiraling toward the bottom of the NFL. Jerry, own this mess and step down already.

Did you really expect a win today???

Jerry is clearly the one who is below average.

How did Dak get everything he wanted in this new contract. You would think if he got the $60M the trade clause would be gone right??? He can have the no franchise tag.

NO I expected us to be a little competent. That Dak contract is a joke.

It's another nonsense thread. The debacle at home against the Lions was the result of too many starting pieces missing due to injury. It has nothing to do with birthday boy Jerry Jones. Some of you people are just desperate to blame Jerry every chance you get.

Hahaha, oh my. Look no further in the dictionary if you're looking for the meaning of the word delusion.

Do you have supporting evidence to condemn Mr. Jones or are you the type that casts stones indiscriminately?

Damn, old fellow, your aim is true.
But your thesis ends with a plea tha Yoda our GM step down.
It won't happen, sire.

Everyone saw this running game and run defense from a mile away. Mazi is a bust. Zeke shouldn’t be in the league any more. He was close to 10k yards but he won’t get there.

Best thing to happen right now would be Jerry realising he wont get another SB while he's doing GM himself. Hopefully the desire to win one more before he passes is bigger than the vanity of being GM.

Dak and Jerry and mutually inclusive. Dak for demanding 4 years/ntc/$60m and Jerry for capitulating (which was highly likely after he got whipped on the first contract).

Jerry's fault, but the fault starts with giving in to Dak........when a lot of us didnt mind seeing what he was going to do in 2024 (and earn it), if Dak wanted the money, to play in say LV and get a close up of Mahomes twice a year....see ya.

Yep, he's cornered himself: no available CAP for the remainder of the Dak contract, a new HC in 2025 to bed in, the two biggest contracts appearing to have a love/hate relationship and above all the INABILITY TO NOT MEDDLE.

Problem is HE wants to be central in any success, he wants the plaudit/adulation, narcissist's never concede power.

10000000% is all Jerry's fault. he is the GM. he told everyone he is the only one who can ****** do it. and he signs the checks. negotiates the contracts.

its been a mess for 30 years.....

Sadly, I expected this. We don't have enough talent to compete with good teams even if we are healthy.. Throw in the injuries and this had blow out written all over it.

Detroit came in hungry and mad from last year. They have outstanding coaches and talent on both sides of the ball. I thought we would win 10 games this year. I think that might not be possible.

I don't see a lot of good options to fix this. Nope none.

The same starting pieces that played in the blowouts against NO and Balt?

We’ve been blaming this debacle on Jerry for nearly 30 years. Not sure why it new to some at this point.
