Big Ben's stock has really fallen. Or may it was overinflated to begin with. In either case he has looked very average this year. He might get a muligan considering all the off season crap he went through. Next year will really be interested to see if he shows us anything.

I was thinking the same thing watching some of that Pit Bal game today. What's that tell you about Bledsoe if any taller type QB getting killed by the by the opposing defense reminds you of him.

He has not looked average this season. He has looked bad. I do think all the off season problems have impacted his game. I also think that Pittsburgh got away from their strengths. Big Ben wasn't winning games by just chunking the ball all day the past couple of seasons. They picked their moments and would hit big pass plays behind a strong running game. That has not been the case this year. Also, parity makes a team or player look good or bad one season and then the next year they look different. Sometimes 10-6 becomes 6-10 with just a few different plays in a game and vice versa.
