Boar's Head Meat Recall

Mold, milder, and insects repeatedly discovered. There were 69 records of noncompliance. You know, you pay for a supposedly better product and it's no better than anyone else. Yeah, their trucks are always clean. But not their work environment. It seems to me that I've been wasting my money on them.

It’s just the one plant in Virginia right? Or is it a problem at others as well?

If you have a problem at one location, you probably have it at other locations as well. Besides that, like oil companies, you never hear about past violations until something happens.

I am guessing, but I have noticed a deterioration in product quality across the board at my local grocery. Produce is either beginning to show signs of spoilage, or it spoils shortly after I get it home. I used to keep onions in my pantry for weeks without issue, but lately, I find one or two rotting after only a week. The same is true with fruits and vegetables. I am wondering if stores are buying older products at a cheaper prices to keep food prices in the store down. Are producers cutting corners too to save a few pennies when they sell to super markets?

No more LIVERWORST! Evidently that was the problem. How many Liverworst fans here?!

Ironic that the ‘top shelf’ grocery store luncheon meat ends up being the deadliest. I don’t believe any labels on my food anymore. Organic, sugar free, all natural, vitamin supplements, whatever is hyped. FDA and Dept of Ag are worthless after so much corporate corruption.
