On the Athletic Sturm scouted his second group of WR today with lengthy writeups after watching 3 games of each of the prospects.

Here are the rankings of the second group:
Jahan Dotson- first-second round
Skyy Moore- first-second round
George Pickens- first round
Jalen Tolbert- second-third round
Christian Watson- second third round

Here is his current WR rankings when you also show the first group:
Garrett Wilson
Chris Olave
Drake London
George Pickens
Jameson Williams
Treylon Burks
Jahan Dotson
Skyy Moore
Jalen Tolbert
Christian Watson

Many are sleeping on Pickens, he is trended to be a much higher pick then many realize.
I would personally trade DOWN in Round 1 and pick Pickens in Late 1-Early 2...but, that's just me. With the way the draft is looking, I think they can find a better OL LATER than a better WR.

I actually believe the WR group stretches much further then the interior lineman. There should be quality receivers on day 2 to pick.

I guess my fear in that logic is, while you are probably right, that WR is gonna need to be ready Day 1 because of the Gallup injury.

I don't think there's a super blue-chip WR in this draft. Williams is probably the closest to it had he not tore his ACL.

To me, you can nab a good WR in round three should you choose to.

You cannot draft just cause a player will miss a few games in yr 1. What they need is more of a #3 WR, not another 1.

Williams is in that spot because of the injury.

Otherwise, he looks like the best WR in this draft.

James Washington will be more ready day 1 than any draft pick.

They would give Pollard more snaps as a slot WR to add WR depth.

i would definitely move up in this draft but not in the 1st RD.we dont need all those 5h RD picks.

People sleep on Pickens because he’s been unhealthy.

He’s dominated since his freshman year. I think he will be the best early and Kyle Phillips will be the best later pick.

I think either of them are stars in Green Bay

Pickens has enough issues to keep him out of the 1st and maybe even drop him to late 2nd.

Very small hands (8-3/4").
Thin build (6-3, 195). Height can actually be a disadvantage to some WRs if they don't have bulk. Easier to press them off the line.
Character issues with multiple game ejections.
Not much savvy as a route runner.

Probably a good pick at #56 if his character checks out.

All we need is a 4th receiver. Taking one in the first would be a huge mistake.

:clap:Lamb replaces Cooper as the #1, Gallup remains the #2 he has always been, Washington is better than Wilson, all we really need is a young receiver to develop as the 4th guy. I am thinking round 3 or later in a draft stocked with WR's. No sense taking one in the first two rounds as we have much higher needs.

And as you mentioned, Pollard can play in the slot or be a bigger factor early in the year with Gallup out.
