I remember watching him many times on Carson. he was great. Poked so much fun at himself; which is rather rare.

He was pretty active until his last year or so. Damn cancer got him in the end.

RIP Bob. A truly unique person.

Loved Bob Uecker . A guy who poked fun at himself yet made the majors as a catcher one of the hardest positions . Funny guy , R I P Bob .

I looked up Uecker MLB stats all in the 60’s . A different ERA all together .

Brought Jim Bouton to the Yankees and that whole career and a great American non fiction “ Ball Four “ what a book .

Absolute icon. One of the funniest people to ever live. Major league isn't major league without Harry Doyle. Rip Bob

I'm late to this thread, sorry about that.

He'll be missed. So many great lines from Major League alone. The old Miller Lite commercials when I was a kid in the 80s.

Guy just had a natural ability to make you laugh without really trying. It was effortless. Heck even Mr. Belvedere wasn't bad....

RIP Mr. Uecker. Thanks for the laughs.
