Its just not fair !!

Consider this, since 2001:

NFL: Patriots appear in 4 Super Bowls, winning 3

NBA: Celtics appear in 2 NBA Finals, winning 1

MLB: Red Sox appear in 2 World Series, winning both

NHL: Bruins just won Stanley Cup

I believe there has also been an MLS title and NCAA college hockey championship during this time.

Must be tough for them.

I guess i'm just happy with the Mavs winning a title.

Yea, but they still have to live in Boston.

The city is so lucky to have all of those great franchises.

Pro sports are odd though....and this is a side topic.

But think about it: other than in hockey, do you ever think of Boston as a great city for home grown sports talent? Not sports franchinses, but as a city that itself has great homegrown sports and players?

I sure don't. Boston has to almost be at the bottom in major cities.

I recently looked up lists of greatest athletes "from Boston" and all I could find were lists that inlcuded Larry Bird (indiana), Booby Orr (Canada), Ted Williams (California), Bill Russell (Louisiana), Tom Brady (Cali), etc.....none are homegrown.

Then if you list at a list of pro players from Boston...period..on all terams...there are less from that city than any other major city.

Anyway, it's just something odd that I noticed.

I took a vacation to Boston personally I enjoyed my stay there.

For you NY guys I went to NY last year and really enjoyed your city as well.

Any Philly people out there I went to your city and can't say I cared for it at all. I did enjoy staying in Valley Forge but did not care much for the city of Philly
