The mom is nuts but she didn't deserve to be treated like that by someone who invited her one and she was not disrespectful to Cooper himself.

Not me. I just think she didn't deserve to be on TV and he ended it. I am glad he did.Dallas;4572342 said:It was a Jerry Springer moment. I gotchya, now.
Big fan of Springer are you?

Yeah, I can see that, but there are many times where I wish someone would realize the invited guest is a horror and end it rather than give them a pulpit.vta;4572382 said:That's sort of like giving someone something they don't deserve, then taking back and being congratulated for doing so. He shouldn't have invited her in the first place.

The world we're all living in is so full of these kinds of shows and interviews: Controversy for ratings. Dial it back to the 50's (before my time), 60's, 70s ... maybe even 80s ... this mom is seen as a self-serving pariah, unworthy of getting any kind of platform to speak from.
But today is the day and age we're living in now, so let's get real. With Cooper Anderson's obvious approval, his people booked this notably controversial mom on his show, knowing full well what her position was going to be. To then try to publicly castigate her On Air only makes Cooper look like a *ick, IMO.
You want to use a guest as an audience/ratings draw, see it through. Acting like you're all butt hurt during a supposedly "honest" moment of indignation ... in my mind TV-fake indignation ... is just lame. Disingenuous goings on, if you ask me.

This tactic isn't anything new.
Dr. Phil invited one of the makes of the "Bumfight" series on his show for some reason. Why anyone would want to talk to scum like that I have no idea. Invited him on and the guy comes out dressed like and with a haircut like Dr. Phil and Dr. Phil immediately kicks him off the show without even starting to ask questions.
Happens on cable news networks too. Basically invite someone on to explain their stance and then shot over them until their time is up.
Cheap appeal to homers of those shows. I'm not sure how much control Cooper or Phil actually have in deciding the topics and who will visit their shows, I know I have seen some YouTube videos where Don Lemon (I think) basically laughed in disgust at having to report a specific story. I would imagine they are given a list of topics they can choose from.
Stupid either way. Prime example of why I don't watch TV.
