Bottom of the screen ad toolbar?

Is this a necessary evil now or does this just happen on my end? I change forums, a bottom ad toolbar pops up that I have to minimize, if I click a thread, minimize, exit thread, ad, into another thread subject, ad..its just constant... Just looking for confirmation that this is by design or a way others keep this to a minimum?

Hate to bring this up and not sure if this is the right forum. Within the last week or so I have noticed a ton of ads as I open up threads. Not sure this is to be expected? I am in Canada, not using any sort of VPN?

Google has started showing automated ads so we will have to look into what options we have to control them.

Yeah, it’s pretty lame. I don’t like taking a quick look at the forum while at the office because I’ve got some busty Ukrainian bride ads popping up.
