COWBOYS-PACKERS ONE-LINERS

Posted by Michael David Smith on September 22, 2008, 8:52 a.m.

Cowboys RB Marion Barber led the team to victory by carrying 28 times for 142 yards.

Said WR Miles Austin of Terrell Owens, “Him having two catches, 17 yards doesn’t explain what he did. He’s attracting double coverage, triple coverage all the time. So for him to do that, it’s almost bigger than him making the play.”

It was the Cowboys’ first win at Lambeau Field.

The Cowboys showed that they can beat a good team even when QB Tony Romo isn’t at his best.
Said Cowboys coach Wade Phillips, “Tony never ceases to amaze me. He has a will to play. If it doesn’t go well early, he fights through it.”

The Cowboys’ defense made sure that there wouldn’t be any Lambeau Leaps.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy describes the Cowboys as “further ahead of us right now.”

For the third straight game, there was a fumbled snap between Aaron Rodgers and Jason Spitz.

Packers S Nick Collins has a nose for the football.

Packers WR Greg Jennings had 115 receiving yards on his 25th birthday.
