... Team penalties are at or below 5 for 50 yards

and

... Romo goes without a turnover

and

... The defense gets two turnovers

for at least three consecutive games.

What's your measuring stick?

i just want to FINISH STRONG. if we just do that, we might just go all the way

Consecutive games mean nothing. They just need to come through when it counts the most. Obviously, the penalties must decrease and our D needs to FORCE some turnovers. But I disagree with the part about Romo. No one is perfect. Even Tom Brady turns the ball over sometimes. Hell, he had a fumble against us that was returned for a TD by Hatcher.

Winning the championship! :)

When they take one game at a time and win more than the others.

2007 stats
Brady- 587 passing attempts- 8 INTs, 50 TDs. 4 lost fumbles.
Peyton- 515 passing attempts- 14 INTs, 31 TDs 1 lost fumble.
Romo - 520 passing attempts- 19 INTs, 36 TDs. 2 lost fumbles.

Romo had a great year. But 21 turnovers is too many. Brady had .75 per game. Manning was just under 1 per game. Romo had almost twice Brady's figure, with 14 fewer TDs.

Romo is less experienced than those guys. But the next step in his maturation is to be able to make the right plays and avoid the bad plays. He's a gunslinger- can't change that, and I wouldn't want to.

But even a small improvement - say 4 fewer INTs than last year- could make a big difference.

what if they do this for, say, the next 3 consecutive games. Then lay eggs the rest of the season(as in not win any games after those 3). I dont think they would be a championship team then...

I vote for the finishing strong theme. Finish every play, every game, the season, the playoffs, and finally the Super Bowl strong. In that order...Then they will have a great chance on becoming a championship team....:D
