The guy who should have got his butt kicked was the short bald guy in the royal blue shirt who started the fight. He's the one who punched the guy in the BACK as the guy was walking away, and then ran off after the guy turned around. Then when the guy is on the ground, the little toad jumps back on top of the guy. I absolutely loathe gutless twirps like that.

Saw the video. Irvin tried deescalating whatever nonsense the two idiots had on one side of the bar. Twenty seconds later (probably longer because the video was cropped), idiots had walked to the other side of the bar away from where Irvin was shooting pool and started fighting.

The bar itself does not appear to be some seedy dive. Looks like a regular sports pub. Of course, women behind the bar were wearing slightly less than what you might see in a Hooters, so it is definitely not a sports pub you would go out for family night either.

Irvin happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time by circumstance. Liquor was probably involved. The same thing does not happen as often outside an establishment like that but they do happen in regular restaurants, etc. Some people simply do not hold their liquor well.
