Does anyone know how long of a contract Aubrey signed? I know there was not a lot of confidence in the summer when he came on. If it was only a 1 year one he may cost quite a lot to re-sign

He's gonna need some money. Probably a 3 year deal, but 2 might be smarter given the insanity of the kicker position

All rookies draft picks get 4 year contracts. All of them. All rookie free agents (which applies to Aubrey) get 3 year contracts. They even all get the same salaries for their first two seasons; the only difference in their average salaries being the size of the signing bonuses. While top draft picks get higher salaries in the 3rd and 4th year of their contracts, free agents get the exact same salary as all other rookies for all 3 seasons of their contract. Aubrey signed a 3-year, $2.695M contract - same as every other 2023 rookie. His first year salary is $750,000; 2nd year $915,000, and 3rd year $1,030,000 - again same as every other rookie free agent. Aubrey got $0 signing bonus.

First Rd picks have a fifth year option the clubs can either pick up or drop.

Kickers can go south in an instant.

Be careful paying them.

Did anyone notice how he kicked that last 50 yard FG to end the game? He approached it like a chip shot. The guy is in a zone right now.

they could start by getting endorsements, should be easy with him and his records kicking stuff thru a goal post
