Good punters make it look easy, and Anger's been doing that. However, punting is not easy. It's not something anyone could do. Otherwise, you wouldn't have to use a roster spot for your punter. You could just have any player do it. On the contrary, punters train hard and build up the skill. Anger's been doing a great job. He's got a powerful leg and is quick. He can safely get it out of there, even if he has to punt from our own endzone. If a punter is good, you don't really notice it. If he's bad, it's suddenly glaringly apparent. But Anger is outstanding. If we're punting, you usually feel disappointed, but a good punter will give the opposition the worst field position possible. Anger's been doing that. He's been in the shadow of our excellent kicker. Fans are rightfully delighted with Aubrey. But Anger also deserves our respect. In the playoffs, we'll face quality opposition. Every drive can't be a scoring drive. If you have to give the ball back, back them way up if you can. Everyone has so much confidence in Brian Anger that it's easy to forget to appreciate the fine job he's doing. Thank you, Brian Anger.
