Should have shut his mouth and took it to the field. He has to earn #1 WR on the field. Challenge T-Will first and take his job. Had he kept his mouth shut he would likely beat out T-Will this year. He had foot surgery and may not be 100% ready by seasons start. The cards would have laid out good for butler if he just kept his mouth closed.

Now Hurns will get the job.

He knew he was out anyway. He believed he could challenge Dez and the organization would never let that happen. Because of that, I'd want out too. He wants to get paid and help a team. He told the truth, I have no problems with that.

Because he is no where as good as Dez is. So why would the team do that.
That is like saying replace Dak with Weeden if he was still here.

The Cowboys operate on past reputations and personal relationships.

They don't play the "best man" if that best man is competing with one of Jerry's favorites or with a guy who USED to be great.

Butler had better chemistry with Dak than any other receiver last year, and he still barely played.

Sure, Butler had some drops, but Dez was terrible.

Brice and I are on the same page... I couldn't care less about what he says... and I'm sure he feels the same way about my post:)

That's not how it works in Dallas. Having better talent doesn't always translate to supplanting the current starter.

Not in JG system. We have had rookies or 2nd year players that are better than our starters and barely see the field until 3rd year. He likes to bring them in slow. But butler had been here enough he may have had a chance. Hurns will have the chance now but he will need to be so much better than T-Will it’s not even funny. Unless JJ green lights it. Lol

Oh look to see who comes to the defense of Dez. Lol, at least you're consistent. However, didn't you say that Dez needs a QB yesterday? So basically you said that Dak could be replaced with Weeden...lol.

I respect it as a fan. As a organization....you probably don't like it. The route running coach David Robinson had great praise for Butler. Said Butler was the one who introduced him to Dez to work on his routes.

I use to feel this way.....but then I looked back at what Butler did last season.....he and Dak looked to be on the same page. He just couldn't get out on the field. Why? We know why. Its not because of skill or talent. Because they traded a 5th for him because they thought he could play. Its because he was cheaper than T-Will, Dez, Beasley, Witten, etc. When he got out on that field he contributed. I'm not rueing him being gone. I think he will have a decent year for the Cardinals and some may rue here. I just don't think he wanted to be here anymore and the Cowboys didn't seem to want him anymore.

Here is a big reason Brice has been allowed to move on. Think before you speak doesn't seem to register with him. Throws everyone under the bus. Watch as he talks himself right out of a job.

He's telling the truth, we all saw the same things.
He moved on because he'll be more productive, I think leaving benefits him and that's what's it's about.
I love the quote about decisions being made upstairs, and that is the problem we've been pointing out for years now. The HC has limited input and the reason we haven't been successful is because of JJ and SJ.

Great interview!!!!!!!!!!

We have better WR but will they see enough of the field to make a difference? We seem to let some slip away that go on to have good careers. Look at amendola.

Yeh I was a little confused last year. He would make big plays. And even play pretty well, but then would never get any additional playing time. I hope he goes to Arizona and balls out.

He's so dumb, he probably didn't realize saying Dak can't throw to the sideline was not going to bode well for his relationship with Dak. He did have that go route against single coverage down pretty good though.

It was good to see one receiver actually create separation down the field.

no I did not say that, read it again...or do you just cherry pick comments...you can comprehend things can't you, well I guess not.

I had you on ignore for a long time, now I know why. I think I will save myself a lot of time and put you back on it. Can't have a post without you attacking it.
Or I guess you just want to troll and waste my time. AMF.
