Exactly he didn't want to come back. I thought him and dak had some nice chemistry. He made some big plays for us.I respect him for speaking the truth though. He didn't want to come back to Dallas anyways
He knew he was out anyway. He believed he could challenge Dez and the organization would never let that happen. Because of that, I'd want out too. He wants to get paid and help a team. He told the truth, I have no problems with that.
That's not how it works in Dallas. Having better talent doesn't always translate to supplanting the current starter.Should have shut his mouth and took it to the field. He has to earn #1 WR on the field. Challenge T-Will first and take his job. Had he kept his mouth shut he would likely beat out T-Will this year. He had foot surgery and may not be 100% ready by seasons start. The cards would have laid out good for butler if he just kept his mouth closed.
Now Hurns will get the job.

Not in JG system. We have had rookies or 2nd year players that are better than our starters and barely see the field until 3rd year. He likes to bring them in slow. But butler had been here enough he may have had a chance. Hurns will have the chance now but he will need to be so much better than T-Will it’s not even funny. Unless JJ green lights it. Oh look to see who comes to the defense of Dez. Lol, at least you're consistent. However, didn't you say that Dez needs a QB yesterday? So basically you said that Dak could be replaced with Weeden...lol.Because he is no where as good as Dez is. So why would the team do that.
That is like saying replace Dak with Weeden if he was still here.
I use to feel this way.....but then I looked back at what Butler did last season.....he and Dak looked to be on the same page. He just couldn't get out on the field. Why? We know why. Its not because of skill or talent. Because they traded a 5th for him because they thought he could play. Its because he was cheaper than T-Will, Dez, Beasley, Witten, etc. When he got out on that field he contributed. I'm not rueing him being gone. I think he will have a decent year for the Cardinals and some may rue here. I just don't think he wanted to be here anymore and the Cowboys didn't seem to want him anymore.Should have shut his mouth and took it to the field. He has to earn #1 WR on the field. Here is a big reason Brice has been allowed to move on. Think before you speak doesn't seem to register with him. Throws everyone under the bus. Watch as he talks himself right out of a job.
We have better WR but will they see enough of the field to make a difference? We seem to let some slip away that go on to have good careers. Look at amendola.I respect it as a fan. As a organization....you probably don't like it. The route running coach David Robinson had great praise for Butler. Said Butler was the one who introduced him to Dez to work on his routes.

Yeh I was a little confused last year. He would make big plays. And even play pretty well, but then would never get any additional playing time. I hope he goes to Arizona and balls out.I respect it as a fan. As a organization....you probably don't like it. The route running coach David Robinson had great praise for Butler. It was good to see one receiver actually create separation down the field. He's so dumb, he probably didn't realize saying Dak can't throw to the sideline was not going to bode well for his relationship with Dak. He did have that go route against single coverage down pretty good though.
15 catches last year. Go light the world on fire. He's telling the truth, we all saw the same things.
He moved on because he'll be more productive, I think leaving benefits him and that's what's it's about.
I love the quote about decisions being made upstairs, and that is the problem we've been pointing out for years now. The HC has limited input and the reason we haven't been successful is because of JJ and SJ.
Great interview!!!!!!!!!!
