Yep. When we get in a tight game, and the running game is struggling and we get behind the chains, “deer in the headlights” Dak comes out.Dak has always struggled seeing the field.
Yep, we usually bounce back with a good game after an embarrassment like that.Yep. When we get in a tight game, and the running game is struggling and we get behind the chains, “deer in the headlights” Dak comes out.
When he has time in the pocket and the offense is clicking, he is generally fine. Sunday will be interesting to see how they respond to being embarrassed nationally
The game ending pick was very telling for Dak on how he see's the field. He didn't throw a fade to the corner of the endzone and the DB made a great play, he threw it blind into triple coverage on third down, not fourth down, third down.So BB’s summary:
1. Too aggressive in getting up the field at times, guys getting too wide and out of position
2. Guys making poor reads and run fits
3. Poor communication at every level.
4. OL being compromised limited the offensive passing gameplan
5. Dak struggles seeing the field
I am surprised they don’t run more RPOs down there for him. Let him use his legs and make the D defend one more thing in the RZ.The game ending pick was very telling for Dak on how he see's the field. Dak is lost and when the pressure is on it's really exaggerated. We all root for him and he has some good qualities but seeing the field or being clutch is not one of them.
No comments about the defense huh?Dak has always struggled seeing the field.
Same as last year. We were good the first few games. Then they got film and realized to run at Parsons. And we get to aggressive going after the qb. The guys want the sack and miss their lane assignments. We need to straighten it out now, or yesterday..So BB’s summary:
1. Too aggressive in getting up the field at times, guys getting too wide and out of position
2. Guys making poor reads and run fits
3. Poor communication at every level.

They used to. When we went for it on 4th down I thought we may use Dak. Or the pick that he threw. I know after the injury he may not feel as confident but he needs that part of his game. I was complaining a week or so ago that they were running that option about 10 times in a game but he kept none of them. No I don’t want him hurt. And if you look at his stats he never really ran a lot compared to other running qbs.I am surprised they don’t run more RPOs down there for him. Let him use his legs and make the D defend one more thing in the RZ.
He definitely breaks down when the pressure is on. Sunday the OL was like a sieve at times.
Everybody wants this but those days are done. You gotta come to grips with the fact that the 40 million dollar man is not the QB you remember from 2016. He is a top tier arm stud and stands tall in the pocket like Joe Montana.I am surprised they don’t run more RPOs down there for him. Let him use his legs and make the D defend one more thing in the RZ.
#1 stands out to me the most at times, I hate seeing Micah do thisSo BB’s summary:

So is it a compulsion or obsession as regards always trying to divert attention from Dak's shortcomings? No comments about the defense huh?
virtually the whole team was sloppy. Bottom line is the team went in there expecting an easy game and got kicked in the teeth.I saw on multiple drives a set of WRs ran identical routs a couple yards apart. One, Dak had no option but the nearest. What the hell plays are they calling? I get miscommunications at times, but this is becoming consistent. Just lazy.
When someone's big takeaways from the game include Dak not seeing the field and not lazy route running and sloppy offensive scheme....I know they have an agenda. So BB’s summary:

2. Guys making poor reads and run fits
