Admittedly i have been a huge fan of Bruce Lee.

i meant to make mention of Martial Arts Legend Bruce Lee on the anniversary of his passing on July 20th 1973, Lee who still to this day remains unmatched, uncomparable, unconquerable to any martial art action movie star from any part of the world.

We've been through a host of legendary through the ages such as .. Jet Li, Jean Claude Van Damme, Donnie Yen, Steven Segal, Jackie Chan, Gordon Lui, Sonny Chiba, Chuck Norris, Sammo Hung, Don Wilson, Tony Jaa (Onk Bak thai Warrior, the Protector) , Iko Uwais (raid redemption) and a many host of others past present and future, but despite decades and decades of passed time after his bizarre death
.. none have reached the sensationalism and legendary tone of Bruce Lee.

Why is he still so very popular and even the most popular martial arts icon to where all will be measured by ? ? What made Lee so astounding unique and extraordinary ?

i am always looking for the exact video tube, among countless on going, incoming videos
....the exact documentary among countless other documentaries.. the one that best pinpoint what made Bruce Lee so iconic, so legendary, still the biggest name to come to mind when we think of the word " martial arts " .

Please share any thoughts, ..any theory, ..any video ..or documentary that you think best explains why
Bruce Lee was so legendary icon, so influential to so many of us, ..even to this very day.

He was relatively young when he passed away. That tends to help a person's fame or at least not hurt it. He didn't get old and grouchy and become something different from when he first became famous. He went out on the top of his game. He was cool and that lingers.

Also gotta think about the novel and legendary things he brought to the table: As mentioned, the One Inch Punch, also that he either inspired or actually created Jeet June Do, and then there's the fact that when filming The Green Hornet, they had to have him slow down his moves, because they couldn't catch it on film.

Imo, Bruce Lee brought a screen presence and personality on camera that not only Hollywood but the entire world had never seen before
and has never been able to match or surpass, even after nearly 50 years after his death.

The impressive display of extraordinary athleticism, agility and bend
-.utter lightning quick kicks,
- physical fitness and physique,..
- the patented cat- cries,..
-.the facial expressions ..
..the striking good looks
- the beautiful flying dragon kicks that have been a work of art, ....
- the stamp work with the nunchakus sticks,. (we haven't seen any one else bring another patented martial arts weapon to the screen as such)

Quite frankly it was not just how he simply changed the entire film industry and brought Kung ** culture into the Western culture and made it legendarily popular for decades and decades to come,.. but it was how his influence courageously changed the racially barrels that existed and challenged him (and many, many others) during his life and quest in the Western states, while also placing his philosophical influence with his own created Kung ** style -per Jeet Kune Do.

What other actor brought so much to the screen as well as influence so much to our cultural lives the way Bruce Lee did ?
Even when i hear testimonies from many other action stars and celebrities, they all think and say what many of us continue to
say,.. Bruce Lee was an incredible inspiration.

I meant to mention the nunchaku as well. It was a weapon most people had never heard of until then, and his use of them was unmatched. I think he's the sole reason almost everyone knows what they are, if they don't some themselves.

When I was 7 or 8 yrs old, my parents took me and a couple of neighborhood kids to the Drive-In and we saw Fist Of Fury. OMG, we had never seen anything quite like that before, martial art movies weren't really a thing back then and to see it on a screen a few stories big....... blew our little minds....lol. To heck with playing cowboys and indians or soldiers, we played "BruceLee" Fans for life after that.
