I'm going with The Motor City Madman, I never was a big Boss fan. The first concert I ever saw was Nugent doing his Cat Scratch Fever tour in Fort Worth, Tx. It was absolutely crazy.

Never a big fan of Springsteen. Sure he deserves his props but I just never cared for his music for whatever reason.

So give me the Motor City Madman.

I love some of his guitar work and songs but at the same time I always have some level of disgust for him due to some of his past issues with underage girls.

I never got the Springsteen thing. In fact I actually fell asleep during his show the one time I saw him. He was the last act of a day long thing which had SRV, U2 and the Police among others.

Only time I ever fell asleep at a concert. Wasn't even drug/alcohol induced!

Nugent all the way.

Nugent was a brilliant guitar player and had some great hits. But, he just seemingly couldn't get out of his own way. Springsteen was a great lyricist with so-so musical inclination, but was smart enough to surround himself with great talent. For me, Springsteen. But 'what could have been' with Nugent. Very underrated in the grand scheme of rock-n-roll.

Nugent's too self indulgent. Springstein was a far superior songwriter, and has carried his career well across decades. No contest.

Nugent for the win. Saw him last summer and for being 62 yrs old the dude still has it in spades and he was still on top of his guitar playing.
Its too bad we dont have more people like him in office instead of these limp wristed politically correct political hacks.

I will say neither. Not a Springsteen fan, and Nugent I don't like as a person.

The Boss and it's no contest. Absolutely no contest.

I agree it is no contest. Springsteen is far bigger for whatever reason. I don't like either guy. Just not into their music and with a few guys on here I have never understood the mass appeal of Bruce.

The Boss. For me, it's not close. Springsteen had a much bigger impact on music IMHO, which in itself is a lie cause anybody who knows me would say, "He aint humble, he's a *******!"

I think Ben Stiller put it best...."Bruce, your songs are the soundtrack of my life."
