I saw this morning he has 10 films still to come out this year. The man has been making films like there was a countdown clock.
I read an article a few weeks ago commenting about that. There was speculation that he had some kind of health issue that was prompting him to take all the offers coming his way. Somebody noted he was wearing an earpiece on one of the sets, but didn't think it was hearing related as the piece was in a different ear later on the set. Speculation was that it was because he was having problems with his memory, remembering lines etc., hence the earpiece.

I wonder if this started a few years ago.
I know he has been in some really bad movies that he probably never would have even considered doing years ago.
Maybe he was doing so many to build up the money to take care of his future and family knowing that it will be an issue.

Feel bad for him and his family. I am sure most here have had a relative or two going through or have gone through similar issues and it is a hard thing.

Has an estimated wealth of $250 million so I doubt its about money.

mini strokes are one of the 1200 severe side effects listed from something that was recently court ordered released

aphasia usually occurs from strokes.

My mother-law-has this. She was a brilliant nurse in charge of the nurses at the local hospital. She has a heart of gold. We have to have patience with her as she is trying to explain things. Things like talking about a clock. She will say something along the lines of, "That thing on the wall, that lets you know if it's morning or night". She knows what it is but she cannot articulate what it is. Her handwriting is unreadable. It was the first sign she had to retire from nursing as she couldn't write daily reports anymore. She cannot drive anymore because she can't read road signs and gets lost easily. She still recognizes and knows everyone, It's her language skills that have failed her.

Yes! My Mom died last October after about a 9 yr fight with it. Watching her decline snd putting her on a facility was one if the hardest things of my life. Watching loved ones lose cognitive abilities is the worse. I really feel bad for Bruce and his family.

I like Willis but a lot of his recent movies have been low-budget trash. He is better than that.

She had Alzheimer’s, not Aphasia. Thought I included that.

To be honest, I had heard a few stories about Bruce being a complete D-bag on the set of movies.

I wish home well.

The most popular story came from Kevin Smith, but I believe Smith even came out later saying it was more exaggerated than what was initially said.

Oh no, this was known well before Kevin Smith talked about it on JRE. You can pretty much google "Bruce Willis rude a-hole reddit" and have tons of reading material, like him having a serious issue with ANYONE making eye contact with him on/around the set.

And Kevin Smith just recanted/downgraded his version just a few days ago? It wouldn't be out of sympathy, now would it?

Again, I wish him well, just something that stuck out to me....
