Bruglers draft guide

Not sure if it’s because I previously had a subscription, but I was able to sign up for the Athletic for $1 a month (auto renews at 7.99 after 5 months, but just have to remember to cancel). No brainer just to get Brugler’s guide

Dane is no better than any other. Why he gets this universal praise I don't know.

I think mainly because he doesn't come across in his media sessions or on twitter as an a hole know it all, like most of the cowboys draft media types (lol)

As with most things, depending on only 1 source as the end all be all is never good. But there’s no denying “The Beast” is the best put together and most detail oriented draft guide you’re going to find.

I think a majority of draft guys are better than Kiper.

Kiper created the game and made it what it is. But he's just there for the pay days now

- Kiper has salesmanship and camera charisma to his game.
He can sell and make the NFL draft appealing more than anyone else.

- Mel Kiper's Draft Guide used to be considered the bible of the NFL draft before he mysteriously decided to drop out of all paper publications
what also separated Kiper from the rest of the draft guru's and publications were his in depth look at future years' positions and rankings; sophomores,
juniors, seniors,
And his mock draft were a far better more accurate and precise than most draft publications. Only Rick 'Goose' Gosslein maybe his superior when it comes to accurate mock drafts.

- ESPN's Todd McShay strikes me simply a Mel Kiper wanna be. i tend to take him
with a grain of salt and shock value entertainment only.

- i love Ourlads scouting profile player breakdowns, and info hometown birthplace of the players, but Ourlads' 7 rounds mock drafts projections in their draft guide is among the worst.

IMO, Kiper was never good at player evaluation. His value in his heyday was insider information and this was during a time where there wasn’t a million other talking heads following the draft
