The Cowboys will pick at the back of the 1st round. Dane has 4 qbs in his top 32 and see 2 others going high in Bo Nix of Oregon and Jayden Daniels of LSU. That makes a total of 6 going before the Dallas pick.

Dane has 7 receivers going. Maybe 1 or 2 will fall to Dallas.

Dane has 8 olinemen going and I added his number 33 which is Troy Fautanu from Washington. That makes 9. 1 or 2 should fall to Dallas.

Brock Bowers the tight end from Georgia will go before Dallas.

Dane has 5 edge rushers going before Dallas.

Dane has 5 corners going before Dallas.

With my 2 qbs added and Dane's numbers that adds up to 33. Dallas is going to have some good players to chose from. I'd say that there is a good chance that their pick will be an olinemen or a receiver. I also like running back Troy Benson from Florida State. He will be gone when they pick in the 2nd round. They would have to take him late 1st or trade back a little bit to get him.

Okay. First off, a lot will happen between now and April in regards to the perceived values of prospects.

Second, my pet cat this year is Oregon State tackle Talaise Fuaga. This draft is loaded at tackle this year. Loaded. Fuaga is a jerk and has extremely violent and powerful hands. It will be like having two Tyler Smith’s on the O line.

Last, the Cowboys were really close to taking Matthew Bergeron, the Guard/Tackle from Syracuse, who has played very well for the Falcons. The team ( the Jones mainly) rarely adjust their thinking from year-to-year. That being said, and considering where they will be drafting, I could see them being enamored with Washington Guard/Tackle Troy Fautanu.

If I was a betting man, I’d also predict a RB in the 2nd. Maybe Benson like you suggested, but they seem to like Michigan players and with them picking at the bottom of the 2nd round, and not being very skilled at moving up and down the draft, so I’ll go with Blake Corum.

I’d also love it if they can somehow land Brenden Rice in the 3rd but not sure he will last to the 90s.

He's good
So having watched every one of his games, he's a nice RB but he's a mid to late rounder for me. True north/south runner. I wonder if he's explosive enough to be effective in the NFL. Not exactly quick to the LOS. Good blocker and really wasn't used a ton in the passing game.

I could see a scenario where we let Pollard walk, bring in a good vet TB and then maybe draft this guy late.

Yea he's way too slow to be worth a high pick. Day 3 pick.

If he runs sub 4.6 I'd take him round 3-4
