Early Sunday morning, we looked at the initial draft grades for the Cowboys, which were somewhere in the B to C+ region.

The DMN's Rick Gosselin, widely recognized Master Of The Mock Draft, graded the Cowboys ahead of the other NFC East teams. The Cowboys got a B, the Eagles, Giants and Commanders all got a C. But those grades are not shared by all observers.

Overall, the consensus seems to be that Cowboys made questionable 2nd and 3rd round picks, the Eagles went for quantity over quality, the Giants didn't address some obvious needs and the Commanders are still looking for a quarterback. After the break, we look at what the grades for the NFC East teams look like and what the draft pundits are saying about the NFC East teams...

Those guys are all over the place.

I hate that Philly got Havili, a favorite of mine.

This taken from the SA Express/News:

Smith was a no-brainer, but most analysts believe there were better options on the board than Carter and Murray. Carter, though, could turn out to be a steal, and Murray will help on third down and in the return game. Third-day haul could yield some gems. Needs in the secondary and at defensive end weren’t addressed, but, all in all, they filled some holes and hastened the departure of some over-the-hill players, which is always a good thing.
