I posted this same topic a few days back.

The Cowboys’ rookie tight ends aren’t kidding around with their opportunities to take on the work load this week in wake of Dalton Shultz’s knee injury.

Why so serious? Well, if you’re the Dallas Cowboys, it’s because you understand how critical it was to sidestep an 0-2 hole by upsetting the Cincinnati Bengals and how equally important it is start 1-0 within the NFC East in Week 3, but a possible absence of Dalton Schultz aims the spotlight at rookie tight ends Jake Ferguson and Peyton Hendershot (a.k.a. “The Villain”, but more on that in a bit).

I grabbed Ferguson on my Dynasty team a few weeks ago to stash on my bench because I think he will be better than Schultz when he takes over the starting job. I think Ferguson will be the #1 TE in 2023 and Schultz will be on another team.

and Shultz almost singlehandedly cost them the game with sloppy play. Ferguson will replace him. Better blocker and as good at catching the ball.

KM runs a lot of 12 personnel so it'll be interesting to see how the rookies handle their first away game, and deal with the bright lights of MNF. All eyes on these two, and this offense needs them to perform.

Great minds think a like. I went one step further to make sure i picked him up off waivers after the draft for the better pick selection next year lol
