Without even reading it, blame whoever, but the combo of Dak/Moore isn’t working.

They can add a stud WR, draft a solid RB, beef up the OL, etc….is that going to help what’s really wrong with Dak?

They need someone here who is going to be candid with the FO about Daks ability, reel him in, and understand that the focus is the running game and defense, and winning games….not fantasy stats or trying to make plays that you cannot.

But I don’t see it happening. IF there’s any type of OC change, Jerry will look for someone who tells him that they can fix Dak and turn him into Mahomes.

They sure need another RB and another WR. They need another OC who can coach Dak back to his strengths. Not have him throw the ball everywhere. I'm worried the defense will regress without Quinn and it won't matter anyway.

Dak had a great O-line, Zeke, Pollard, Schultz, Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup all at the same time and still couldn't do anything.

You literally couldn't give a QB much more than what Dak has gotten.

They don’t have any money to buy all those toys though.

"Emphasizing bringing in talent in the draft and free agency"

Let's be honest... free agents come to Dallas to get (over)paid, not to win championships.

Jerry always seems to think he can cobble together something from the bargain bin, like he's going to strike gold, hit oil, catch lightning in a bottle...

but it hasn't worked in the nearly three decades since their last Super Bowl.

The biggest changes Dallas needs are changes of ownership, leadership, and culture.

If Blogging The Boys assessment is accurate, it further affirms Jerry Jones 100% commitment in Dak Prescott. Just posting this for any member wanting to post the next 'WE SHOULD MOVE ON FROM DAK NOW!' thread or comment. The buck stops with Jerral Wayne Jones.

I agree that Dallas needs to bring in some additional players on offense, the question is how do they do it? Do you keep Tyron Smith at his cap hit? If so you have an injury prone T eating up a decent chunk of the pie while you have Smith/Steele. If not you're counting on Steele making a full recovery and being 100% for the season. Are you kicking Daks cap hit down the road to open up space? Do you lose a defensive contributor like Wilson or LVE to bring in another receiver?

I think the most likely scenario is exactly what we've gotten the last few years. The Cowboys lock up mostly their own guys in free agency, count on guys like Gallup to bounce back, sign a cheap James Washington type as insurance, look for 2nd/3rd year guys like Sam Williams to improve, and hope to hit in the draft again.

Big Mike is very likely to be back, as is Kellen Moore, and possibly even DQ with Ryans emerging as the favorite in Denver. None of that am I angry about, but I'd love to be wrong and the Cowboys try a little bit different formula this year. The Cowboys have done an excellent job of roster construction (for most positions), drafting, and even developing their guys to fit the scheme. With that said though it becomes extremely difficult to hit on the draft and player development with the frequency that they have the last few years.

You shouldn't need to give a $40 million dollar QB stud weapons at every spot and along the OL.

But as the article said, we aren't in fantasy world anymore, we are in the real world and right now, Dak isn't the type of QB that's going to take a couple of good players and help elevate the offense. He needs game changers all around him to succeed.

That's just the honest truth at this point.

But did you prevent the opposing team from having 11 players on defense?

It's not fair to judge or rate Dak if the opposing defense has 11 players - 7 players seems reasonable.

Oh, and all-pro backups - what if Lamb got hurt? Did the Cowboys have Justin Jefferson in reserve? No? Then not Dak's fault.

SMH.

It's imperative Jerry gets the best QB coach/OC that there is for Dak.

Then put them in a closet and don't let them out until training camp.

Dak will need a therapist, PR guy, and a bodyguard at minimum. Let's start there.

I'm good with an Optometrist, a Sports Psycologist, and a Hypnotist......at least there's effort being made. Hypnotist can double down and work with Kellen Moore too. Win/Win situation.
