Bucky is pretty good at talent evaluation. I am starting to warm to Hendon mid rounds. The knee likely heals just fine eventually. The fact that he is 26 this year probably makes him slip but I am OK with that even if he ends up a solid number 2. I'd rather have an older prospect that has a ten year career than a high pick that is a grad assistant in 5 years. Read he did great with interviews at the Senior Bowl also.

I like HH. I would not mind him. My reservation with him has to do with the offense he played in. He had a ton of time and it was so wide open. He can throw a beautiful deep ball. But there are legit concerns with his skillset and how it will transition to the NFL. I do like him as the third best QB, despite these things. I have these same concerns with Stroud. Def like Young the most despite the height. Richardson has the highest ceiling, but the lowest floor of the top ranked QBs.

It's hard to ignore Haener, as he has a will to win. I watched Fresno State look like straight poo when he got injured, only for him to get healthy and then go on a crazy win streak to win the Mountain West Championship, then to win the Jimmy Kimmel LA bowl. Not the strongest arm, but does make smart decisions. Is mobile. A lot to like there for a mid to late round pick.

Def like him better than Duggan, He had me in the first half. LOL

The age thing can work in your favor, because you don't have to wait for them to mature.

Studies show male brains fully develop, or mature, at 25...

If Hooker is there at our 2nd round pick I would draft him.

The Cowboys would have to drop down to the early 2nd, or trade up to much higher in the 2nd, in order to get HH. QBs are at a premium, and him making all those great throws and only throwing 2 picks is going to be hard to ignore. Drafting him would be a commitment, the end of Dak Prescott. You draft a QB that high, and Prescott becomes immediately nothing more than a one year placeholder. Not sure the Jones family is willing to give up on Dak, no matter how many times he fails.

IMO, you can have Stroud and Levis, the best player in the draft is Bryce Young.

There's another guy with a different style, who looks like he could have as much game: Jaren Hall.

I can't call it for sure, but he definitely has some tools and some moxie.

If I were the Cowboys, and needed a quarterback, I'd consider spending a 3rd. I think Hall will rise.

He would work well in the Mike McCarthy, Green Bay, offense. He played baseball, and basketball, so has a gun, and is evasive.

The other guy I would love to draft is Jake Haener, from Fresno St.

The 4 QBs I like are Haener, Hooker, Hall, Tune.

I can see Bill Belichick moving up to draft someone off that list; I can particularly see him drafting Hall.

Malik Cunningham busts in the NFL, imo.

Dorian Thompson Robinson's release looks suspect.

Also, Anthony Richardson... Has an arm, and 4.4 speed.

This class has some players at QB. A guy like that could help make Zeke relevant again....

Back ups and 3rd string gotta come from somewhere right? Theoretically there are 96 QB jobs in the NFL. Somebody gotta be number 1 and somebody gotta be number 96. We agree on your first two faves though. I think at a minimum both Hooker and Haener hang around the league a long time. The guy whose metrics dont look great but the scouts love is Levis. He will need the right coach IMO to realize his abilities. A bad team with a bad coach will definitely doom him for sure.
