Bucky Brooks on Hendon Hooker

Bryce or Hooker would be my targets. The other dudes are really raw. I feel these 2 guys can have early success.

the Houston QB Tune, he is another. Very mobile and is accurate.

Bucky is pretty good at talent evaluation. I am starting to warm to Hendon mid rounds. The knee likely heals just fine eventually. The fact that he is 26 this year probably makes him slip but I am OK with that even if he ends up a solid number 2. I'd rather have an older prospect that has a ten year career than a high pick that is a grad assistant in 5 years. Read he did great with interviews at the Senior Bowl also.

He does interview well.

I like HH. I would not mind him. My reservation with him has to do with the offense he played in. He had a ton of time and it was so wide open. He can throw a beautiful deep ball. But there are legit concerns with his skillset and how it will transition to the NFL. I do like him as the third best QB, despite these things. I have these same concerns with Stroud. Def like Young the most despite the height. Richardson has the highest ceiling, but the lowest floor of the top ranked QBs.

It's hard to ignore Haener, as he has a will to win. I watched Fresno State look like straight poo when he got injured, only for him to get healthy and then go on a crazy win streak to win the Mountain West Championship, then to win the Jimmy Kimmel LA bowl. Not the strongest arm, but does make smart decisions. Is mobile. A lot to like there for a mid to late round pick.

Def like him better than Duggan, He had me in the first half. LOL

My conclusion after watching HH...Jalin Hyatt is really good...

It's Brandon Weeden 2.0. Taking a 25 yr old player who needs development is a bad idea to me. We have enough holes to fill. Rather take a young guy in later rounds with upside.

Alot of QB's dont hit there prime until they are close to 30 anyways

If you get a chance to select a franchise QB, you take it. Is Hooker that guy ? Who knows. All depends on how they view the player. Has a lot of tools and surrounded by the right talent he could be a something.

So by the time Dak's 10 year extension is over, he will be 36. And Jerry will think he can be like Brady and play until he is 45.

The only reason you take him in the 2nd round is if you think he can develop into a franchise QB. We all get it wrong most of the time when it comes to the QB position. Heck that’s why there are so many bad ones in the league. I think Hooker has got a lot of tools. I myself wouldn’t do one of the first 2 picks, but I‘d pull the trigger in the 3rd round.
