Found a blog about some good burger joints in Dallas and Jakes sounds like a good place. Just wondering if you have a personal favorite you might recommend.

Way to many to pick from. Bye the way, Chris Madrids in San Antonio is our favorite burger place....

I have been to Jakes down town on McKinney Ave several times, it's a great burger joint, one of the best in Dallas.

Jakes opened a restaurant in Addison on Beltline Rd. about a year ago just before I moved to Tampa. I highly recommend it.

If you are into great burgers sports and sexy waitresses, Jakes is the place.

We went down there tonight and the girls were hot. The burgers reminded us of Chesters in SA.

I grade them a B. Thanks for the tip...

I'll probably get flamed for this, but if you want a killer burger, go to Whataburger. Best damn burger in this city as far as I'm concerned.

Get a double with cheese, grilled onions, and grilled jalepenos. Dear God, its good !!!!

You won't get flamed. There was this huge thread about Whataburger awhile back.

I don't beef anymore, but when I did, I loved theirs.

I love their chicken sandwiches, tho.

That and the A-1 Thick & Hearty burgers are great.

Glad you enjoyed it.

There's a fun pub on Henderson called The Old Monk. They have great burgers, imo.

I can't believe that I forgot about JG's. I'm ashamed. I should turn in my burger card.
