I don't think that Romo is a "bus driver" as BP likes to put it.

Romo made throws for first downs on 2nd and long and 3rd and very long. A "bus driver" just tries to pick up SOME yards....he went for the first down...which is something that we haven't seen in a LONG time.

You also don't ask a "bus driver" that is making his first start to throw 36 times.

I told you all that I felt he was more ready than most people knew.

I'm finally excited about the future of this team.....as long as he keeps producing. ;)

You don't have to explain yourself.

He made plays Bledsoe wouldn't.

He also made others that we have not seen in Dallas for years.

I feel the same way......the 3rd & 12 throw was simply brilliant, That was a big time play.

Does this look like Romo to you????????

That one pick he threw was terrible, but his dexterity cut down on the Carolina blitzes.

Romo made alot of 3rd down plays to keep the drive alive

THAT is what I liked best about his performance tonight.

There will be more plays like that. Book it. Honestly, I was expecting 2 or 3 of those plays tonight.

But thats part of the learning curve, and I can't see how anyone could not be excited about what he showed tonight.

Much better than I expected. Really, really looked good. I hope he sustains this, and if he can, then he is definitely the answer.

Just hoping he doesn't Hogeboom us. Hogeboom had a great opening start on Monday night football and was a .500 QB for the rest of 1984.

Romo looks legit though and I'm sure hoping he is.

I saw it as a bad pass but a great play because it easily could have bounced off the defender out of bounds. The one play we need to use judiciously is that quick hitch, ask the Commanders about using it 5+ times a game.

Overcoming penalties....not a sign of a bus driver either.
