I prefer margarine on my bread/rolls/bisquits etc..... But when cooking/baking I use butter.

...mechanically processed, whipped product.

Takes hours to pass through the body. Not good.

The product base for magarine is used in making ice cream cones that don't melt, stabilizers to harden partially hydrogenated dairy products and smoothing agents for artificial creamers in coffee.

It doesn't come from any animal or secreted naturally by any plant.

In the end make your own decision. Just an FYI. In North America and First World Europe the fastest growing cancer in the past three decades has been bowel cancer. In the last half decade it has surpassed Breast Cancer as the number one threat to women and it easily the top cancer claiming men.

Given products that food manufacturing plants are making is there really any surprise?

 Man knows his food.

Hydrogenated oils will kill ya.

Butter, though i only use it to make eggs and on my toast, i dont cook a lot that requires either. i try to never use margarine, but some diners still use it so you get stuck with it sometimes when eating out.

they aslo have the spreads that are high in omega 3 but i dont think they are great for baking.
