It seems they have a new expansion coming out too. If you play WoW (a lot), sounds like a good deal.

Thanks for the info. I might do it since I don't know exactly when D3 comes out, but that's a pretty good deal. I can just play WoW casually until then.

It also gives guaranteed access to the next WoW expansion (beta). I watched some of Blizzcon today.

Plus you get a special mount in the next patch. I signed up for mine this morning. You don't even have to pay the whole year at once, just keep paying your monthly subscription.

I was thinking about going back to WoW to play, but I decided to go back to Aion. I love the flying aspect a lot in the game and that physic while PvPn is far more fun than running around the arena.

Definitely the cheaper way to go. D3 is I believe $60. A year of WoW + the new expansion would be closer to $200. If you're just starting out, you've got to buy ALL the expansions to get the most out of the game. That would probably be closer to $300! haha Fugetaboutit

Honestly I am one of the 1st ones to play a new launch. I have been burned sooo many times the past couple of years doing that. I will wait and make sure the game is reliable and server stability isn't an issue.

I probably spent 300$ the past year on games I never play, because the initial experience at launch was absolutely terrible.

I will wait to make sure D3 is stable at launch. I might pick it up the 2nd mo that its out.

You know you're going to get it. Suck it up and get it. Besides, Blizzard is easily the best game maker in the business.

I understand Blizz is tops, but even Blizz had a horrible experience launching World of Warcraft in the beginning.

D3 has just as much hype and more.

We'll see. :D

I know you bought the Final Fantasy MMO last year. Looks like they're still working on getting it right.

Go and read what they had to do after that game launched. The fired nearly everybody associated w/ the game. The revamped everyone.

All of this after they collected millions and millions in pre-orders and the game not working.

I will not return, SquareEnix!!

Come play some AION w/ me, yall.

It's a lot of fun.

If you ever to decide to come back or play, play on ZIEKEL server/Asmodian side.

Playing a cleric atm, lvl 24 and loving it.

Impossible to kill. :D

Look for player "Shimmergloom" ;)

Before you bag on my name...:

Shimmergloom is the nickname of Haerinvureem. He was a shadow dragon who arose from the depths of the Underdark after the Battlehammer dwarves of Mithral Hall delved too deep in their mithral mines. Shimmergloom drove the dwarves from their ancestral home, forcing them to resettle in the Icewind Dale region, and supplanted them with his Duergar servants.

Todd The Devourer was taken...

Oh yeah? My name is " Bruenor Battlehammer" and you're dead. :muttley:

I've read maybe 6 to 8 of the books in this series, but I can't recall exactly which book this was from. Starless Night might have been the last one I read. (or at least the last one I bought, and possibly haven't read)

I heard that really start to go down hill in quality after 7 or 8. I think that's why I didn't continue reading them.

Some of the most entertaining stories I have read. I loved the series but it did get a bit old after the 1st 10 - 12 books.

Huge Forgotten Realms fan. ;)
