I wore #38. I sure would love to see a GREAT Cowboy don that number.
You need to just own up to having Jeff Heath as your hero.I wore #38. I sure would love to see a GREAT Cowboy don that number.
I can't think of any Cowboy great who wore it. That's my test. If I see a number and immediately think of a player who had a great career in it, I prefer that players pick a different number. I know that's impossible to do, but I'm torn over passing on 88 to the next "great." I like the legacy aspect, but would rather associate each great with his own number. When I think of 88, I preferred automatically thinking of Drew Pearson, but now we have to qualify which great 88 it is: Pearson, Irvin, Bryant or Lamb. I mean, would anyone have been upset if Irvin had made 87 famous, if Bryant had worn 82 and Lamb 85?I actually like 13 better than 2......
Yes and no. Theres jersey assurance.Anyone buying a jersey before training camp is rolling the dice
It’s typically predatory that the Cowboys are selling uniforms that they know will change
He’ll likely change numbers again.
They have to get a number for rookie minicamp and then they can get another for OTAs, another before minicamp and change again for training camp.
