You know this is coming. How many TD passes in the playoffs vs the Blitz? How many interceptions in the playoffs vs the Blitz? What’s Dak’s TD to interception rate in the playoffs?

Dak play much worse in the playoffs, but so does everyone else. The defense and coaching were worse against GB last year than Dak!

Everyone needs to improve in the playoffs.

Apparently there is no “danger” in the playoffs or Dak would be great

Dak's a pretty stout guy. He looks difficult to tackle. I think he's built more solid than most QB's. I don't think he's as afraid of impact as ethe majority of QB's. He can stay in the pocket a little longer, realizing that it won't be easy to bring him down.

He is two inches shorter but 20 pounds heavier than Goff. He is the same height as Mahomes but 15 pounds heavier.

In fact, Dak was the heaviest starting quarterback in the NFL last season, by a pound or two over Josh Allen and Justin Herbert. The rest of them are at least 10 pounds lighter with the lightest being Bryce Young at 204 pounds.

Daks calm enough in regular season. But not in big games. Roger,Danny, Troy were always calm and collected in those kinds of games. In fact, that's when they were at their best. They craved it. Dak seems to regress . Can that change? Yes, but he will require a better plan, better players , and leadership on defense to give him better support.

All you are doing is throwing a big spotlight on Dak's playoff struggles. It is painting a picture of yet another overpaid choker. Come playoff time all of the magic stats people like to hoist Dak upon suddenly disappear and a crap QB is all that remains.

Most TD passes versus the blitz since 2021

This just goes to show that there are some teams who havent read (or are unable to execute) The Blueprint......why on earth would you WANT to Blitz Dak, you want to take away the secondary (saturate the middle of the field, with moving Safeties) and as Jimmie Ward said...."see if Dak can beat you".

Lol, getting another QB might be cheaper.

True but they all were surrounded with very good players all around. From the Oline to the RBs to the WRs to the TE to the Defense. Then top it off with the very best coaches. Heck, Dak and Romo would have reached and likely won a SB or two with the teams Roger, Danny and Troy played with.

Okay..that's a good stat. Most TD passes on blitzes. I'd like to know...the rest of the story. I am not convinced that is the only thing that makes a "calm QB". OR that there aren't other factors that create..or destroy...that situation. What quality of teams did we face? What was the rest of the defense doing? How close did the blitz get.

I know I know..."Steve...details god stop it!"

The QB I saw vs Green bay was hardly calm. In fact...panicked. When it matters most.

Is he calm in regular season? Isn't the issue specific scenario's with his composure when going behind by 7 and his response?
The 'Better Defense' argument keeps him in the game.... however as he failed to show in the two SF play-off loses ....he'll still need to step up.
The issue is that good teams know not to blitz Dak.....his struggles are in tight windows.
