This guy will be the next T.O. 6'5" is his height, 230 something pounds, and runs a 4.4 forty. What would it take for us to go get him in next year draft?

more than anyone wants to give up. this guy is going top 5. hes no secret anymore. and hes a to. moss hybrid. hes got the height and hands of moss. hes in the middle speed wise between moss and owens. and hes got the weight of t.o.

Hes the best all-round WR in the nation. Better than Ginn...

Hes like a speedier version of Larry Fitzgerald.

he has much better hands than TO and is a much better player at this point in his career than TO was.

Calvin Johnson will be very high on my want list. The kid is going to be a good one.

well, I was jus tthinking, we may not have a shot at quinn and since it'll be time to start focusing on the offensive side of the ball, Calvin Johnson may deserve a look if we can get up there.

Hopefully Johnson will be taken approximately 30 picks before we get a chance.

If there's a WR that's a legit Heismann candidate, it's Johnson.

Good year for WRs....assuming the top Jrs leave.

Calvin Johnson
Dwayne Jarrett
Sidney Rice
Jeff Samardzija
Ted Ginn
Jason Hill

You guys hit on one of my favorite subjects, Calvin Johnson. I'm a Georgia Tech grad, so I've watched almost every game he's played. He's the truth. If we had a better QB he would be blowing your minds. QB Reggie Ball is so inacccurate that Johnson has a whole highlight reel of miracle catches that seem to be dedicated to rescuing his QB's throws.

Size, speed, hands, leaping ability, intelligence; he has every tool a WR could want. He's the prototype. If you asked me which player I wouldn't trade off our team to get this kid in the draft, I'd say consider anybody fair-game and let's talk. OK, there would be a few names on the list, but it'd be short. He's that good.

If Reggie Ball would've led him over the middle on that one bomb, it was a TD; instead he floated it, Johnson had to slow and fade back to the safety, who promptly blew him up. From certain TD glory to getting tattooed; thanks Reggie Ball.

BTW, Charlie Weis is so much a Parcell's Jr. that Parcells could retire, Jerry Jones could hire Weis, they could tell the press nothing and march Weis up to the microphone for the next press conference, and the local media wouldn't suspect a thing.

I was gonna say hehe

but kid is pretty good

Yea get him a good QB (Romo,Bledsoe) rather than butter Ball he would seem to be the game changing type of player.

I wish I could see that play again, I thought the safety was coming from the middle.

I blame the play calling more than I blame Ball for them losing that game. I'll bet the head coach is wondering whether or not he should take back those play calling duties.

They had a couple of 3rd and 1 opportunities where they tried to run up the middle against Notre Dame and that just does not make any sense to me.

I agree the guy is a stud and with a good consistant passing QB he would be a monster.

Reggie Ball is not that QB.

This guy, with the right QB and team, in the NFL will be better than he was in College IMO.

How about a better coach? GaTech needs a more creative offenisve coach that knows how to get the ball to it's playmakers. Not Chump Gailey.

He is not calling the Offensive plays now.

His OC is.

He very well could be, the kid has great height and size. Has great body control when having to adjust to the pass and good speed. There is no doubt he will be a high #1 next 2007 draft
