Yes but he is in college he can lose some of that weight we seen it before with good weight training

If he plays at about 225-230 he will be fine

true, I'm just kinda shocked, thought he'd weigh in a more svelte 220, than being nearly 240

Just saw him and Peterson and Johnson- both were RIPPED. Not an OUNCE of fat on either.

Calvin Johnson is one of those once in a life time picks, the reason why I say that is two reasons:

1. He's humble and has a crazy work ethic
2. Look who threw him the "ball" during his collegiate career and he still put up outstanding numbers.

He looked lean and muscular, as long as he has quickness and speed it doesn't matter as long as he keeps in shape.

Irvin was drafted at 199 and he played most of his career between that and 205.

Hopefully for his sake .. he doesnt get too big like David Boston did..

Then again, Boston was maybe 208 coming out of OSU and got up to 255.
He wasnt nearly 240 out of college. IF CJ runs a 4.4, no one will care. Especially when he jumps 44 inches too.

It's not just getting "too big", it's not following your trainers' program which is designed to make you a better and healthier athlete. You have to train things like mobility and stability rather than soley focusing on strength and speed or you'll basically destroy your joints.
