Wade fans can they say he is better than guys like Campo, Gailey, Switzer... We should feel lucky Switzer is not the coach!

Garrett fans can makes us all greatfull that we dont have Bruce Coslett calling plays between his herpes attacks!

the WRs we have now are soooo much better than guys like Jason Tucker, Ernie Mills, Darren Chiaverni etc.

The Romo excuse works for Flozell fans too... compare guys like Kurt Vollers, Torrin Tucker, Aaron Gibson!

The only thing that irks me is fans who contend (without any proof whatsoever) that he must be hurt. Why can't he just be slumping? It happens to the best of them.

People think he's hurt? It's 4 weeks into the season. He's fine.

Like you said, he's simply in a slump. After the Giants and Panthers game, he's had alot to deal with mentally.

It took a toll on him IMO. He'll bounce back against KC.

OMG Giants and Panthers took a mental toll on him?? :laugh2: and it takes a losing team for him to bounce back? This is the QB to take them to the playoffs? If that's true, sink the season and get a QB in the draft.

Can this be said of Brady, Manning (either one) or Aikman and Staubach? Mental toll??? Really - like post screw-up itis?? Place him next to the Jimmy Johnson asthma players, that is where the mentally tolled players belong.

It gives them hope that things will magically get better.

You're not suggesting that people here are actually using the Newman excuse on Romo, are you?

I haven't seen anyone insinuate that T-New is hurt.

They've been using it for years..........everytime he gets beat, which is happening more often, there are those who always say he must be injured, his knee is bothering him, his groin, his hamstring, etc..........

Oh, I thought you meant presently. The club has never hidden any of T-New's injuries, so why start with Tony? Either that or Tony's keeping mum about something, but I don't buy it.

Did you say 'slumping'? Oh, the wrath that awaits you.............try and use something with "syndrome" or "(fill in the blank) challenged" next time. 'Special Needs' has the best ring to it. :D

On topic- I do think Romo is slumping. I refuse to think it's all on him as well. I also think we're damn lucky to have a QB with a good head on his shoulders. Otherwise, I'd tend to think we don't stand a chance.
