Without knowing if we are trading our #3 WR before the draft is over. Can we get a decent draft pick for him.

Maybe a 2nd and 4th for him.?

I would want more but a trade has to be being discussed..no?

Who is our 3rd WR? I was told we shouldn't move Gallup and will receive a extra pic next year if he performs and signs a big contract. Not sure that will happen.

I’d trade Gallup right now for Stephon Gilmore from the patriots. I think we need an experienced alpha dog corner to cover the Adams, Golladays, Mclaurins...we will face. He’s be the QB of our young secondary. Then trade down and load up on edge, NT, LB and safety.

If you're trying to trade him for picks you'll be very disappointed in what you'd get back. Maybe a 4th at best IMO. There are just too many very good WR's coming out this year, which has been a trend lately. If you're a GM who needs a good WR, there isn't any real reason to give a premium pick for him.
They are better off keeping him and getting the comp pick.

Gallup has proven to be a big offensive weapon. Hate to see him go. But now is the time to make the logical decision about his future in Dallas.

No need to trade him. Keep him another year. Hopefully he has a great year, signs a big contract elsewhere and we reap the comp pick

I think he would benefit by staying..we certainly will if we get a WR hurt. Being depending on the receivers to move the sticks increases their exposure to something happening. I am more interested in the opportunity to get more draft picks to restock our weaknesses. It just busIness to me. I think that way as I have gotten older as a fan.

I don't see the Cowboys offering up Gallup but I could see another team bring that into play to make a draft day deal with Dallas.

Exactly. The absolute worst time to trade a player is prior to the draft because the obviously presents alternatives.

Conversely, Gallup’s value will be at its highest during the season when rosters are settled and WR becomes a glaring need for some team due to injury or something.

This isn't madden, the cowboys aren't taking on that contract.

I would only trade Gallup, if we had a trade for a stud, young defender set up and then Pitts or Waddle falls to us at 10.
Besides that, just keep him. If Dak stays healthy he easily gets 1000 yards and then a big fat contract and we get a 3rd.

WR is the least of our worries even if Gallup moves on in 2022.

In my opinion, it is the easiest position to find these days.

This draft overall is meh after top 15-20. Good players are there but I think this year will be a lot of "diamonds in the rough" the talent pool is very shallow. I really think at this point if you are trading trade for next years picks.

Getting value for him now might be tough. I don't know if he will get the volume in our offense to establish a good market for us

Pretty much this.

You can't get rid of Gallup unless you are using premium resources to replace him right away.
