There is a car wreck in the intersection where I live. I was in the shower and didn't hear it happen. But I heard the fire truck sirens and then heard them stop. I told my wife, "that sounds like it is right here. Well, it is. It may not have mattered even if I wasn't in the shower. I still may not have heard it.

It was a 2 car accident. A sedan and a passenger van. The woman in the sedan complained of neck pains and had to be extricated from the car.

Bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is almost no damage to the car. It is a 2006 Chrysler Sirrus. No air bag deployment and it is a front impact. There was literally no damage to the van. No air bag deployment.

Oh, on the side of the van, "Pima County Motor Pool."

Can you say "going to try and milk Pima County for a settlement?"

My daughter has the digital camera at school today or I would get you a shot of this. All my neighbors are disgusted. The most frequent comment is "you've got to be kidding me."

With you living in AZ I so much want to ask the obvious question.

:bang2:

That question is only obvious to people who so *totally* don't understand people from Arizona, by the way.

I work for a city in North Dallas and people I have been told by those that work in the Risk Management Department about how people just see dollar signs when citizens are involved in an accident with a City Vehicle.

The tow truck driver is driving the car onto the truck. Has to be less than $400 in damage and that would be from a scam auto body shop.

Cajun, she isn't.

So a "certain" undesirable element has already been introduced in this thread.

Sad because that was not Hostile's intentions but folks are going to take this thread in that direction.

AZ-bashing? I don't think that was really the intent. This thread is about insurance fraud, make no mistake.

To be fair, I brought up the topic about Illegal Alien uninsured drivers and insurance scams in the previous thread.

Doesn't matter in this case. Unless she is a European illegal, it is not the issue.

Link to the other thread? Or a little more about the topic so I might search for it?

For crying out loud. DO you see hate in every corner of your world? Geez.

The question is legit because we had a spat of that here in Nashville few years back. So get off your high horse.

No, the OP intended for this thread to be about "fraud".

But other folks came in and all but asked the OP was the woman an illegal alien.

I live in Texas and we have our own fair share of illegal immigration problems but when I read the OP's comments, I didn't once make an assumption that the woman who may/may not attempt to defraud the county was an "illegal alien".

That happened to us, too. Kil had a very minor fender bender at a stop light and tapped the car in front of him. It damaged our car somewhat, but only because the car in front was an SUV and the tire on the back crunched the hood/radiator.

At the time, the police came and nobody wanted to go to the hospital, everyone was just fine.

A few months later, here comes notification from the shyster lawyers that the people are suing for extended physical impairment, loss of work, etc.

It went nowhere, of course, because they were full of ****.

The real nightmare is when city buses get into accidents. All of a sudden you have 25 passengers rushing to buy stiff neck braces on their way to an attorney.

Well, since I DIDN'T ask it and two of you thought it was the question, it must have been on your minds as well.

This is silly and off-topic, guys.

Gotta love someone reading about a woman trying to defraud a County in Arizona and automatically assuming it was an Illegal Alien.

:lmao:

I never assumed a dang thing. I didn't even ASK the question.

You assumed that was the question because you are looking for hate everywhere you turn.

It must be miserable living a life like that.
