The value of a QB cannot be overstated. Even when it was clear Wentz was not the QB he looked to be as a rookie, Howie Roseman still managed to get great value for him in trade. The picks from the Colts kicked off a string of trades that would make Jimmy Johnson proud. The draft capitol from the Wentz trade was parlayed into ... Jalen Carter, Devontae Smith, AJ Brown, and Cooper DeJean . Amazing.

what is incredible about this is while Jimmy worked the Vikings using a great RB as the trade bait, the birds used a QB that had disappointed and still made out like bandits.

Eagles also got a first(2017) and 2018th 4th round pick for Bradford in 2016.

Barnett didn't live up to the pick, but he caused the fumble vs the Vikings to advance the Eagles to the Superbowl and in the superbowl he recovered the fumble after Graham sack-striped Brady.
