Here is what i would do and is realistic in the Draft.

FA Signings

OT Andrus Peat (30) - 1y / 5M

Peat is a guard by trade but filled in well enough at left tackle this year that we are leaving him in the tackle group, but some might still see him as a guard. He is strong, powerful on impact and can lock on to sustain in both the run and pass game. He’s not fleet of foot but imposes his will with his frame and physical presence. He’s a better player than a lot of right tackles in the league, although all of his NFL experience is on the left side.
Peat is a very solid Tackle that fills the need for a year on a prove it deal.

DT Teair Tart (27) 1 y / 3 M

Solid DT that has strenghts in Run stop.

LB Zach Cunningham (29) 1 y / 1,5 M

Solid hard nosed LB that started a lot for the Eagles last season. He started strong into the season than declined with the Rest of the Team.

CB Fabian Moreau (29) 1 y / Vet Min

RB JK Dobbins (25) 1 y / 1,5 M

Former 2nd Round Pick that is still young and has sth left in the tank

DRAFT

24.
Graham Barton
IOL | Duke
6'5 312 LB

In 2023 as a senior Barton saw action in 9 games and played a total of 496 snaps for the Blue Devils. He allowed 9 QB hurries, no QB hits, and 2 sacks while playing at left tackle. Barton is shooting up draft boards recently because of his mature play and his position flex.
  • Embodies explosive power from the snap, leveraging bursts into formidable blocking force.
  • Excels in space blocking, showcasing range, tenacity, and a relentless drive to finish.
  • Brings a robust and proportional frame, efficiently distributing mass to optimize blocking leverage.
  • Flexibility and adaptability allow him to sustain leverage and adjust mid-rep, crucial for maintaining control.
  • Deploys a wide base and controlled hand placement to envelop and anchor against rushers effectively.
  • His football IQ and versatility shine, processing in-game dynamics seamlessly across multiple line positions.
  • His background at center and athleticism make him a fit for zone schemes, offering rare mobility for his size.
  • Exhibits the 'scrapper' mentality, tenaciously fighting for real estate and maintaining block control.

This fixes the Center Problem as Barton would be the starting Center Day 1.

56.
T'Vondre Sweat
DL | Texas
6'4 365 Lbs

Emerging from the heart of Texas football, this player made an indelible mark on the Longhorns' defensive line. Starting his journey in 2019, he quickly adapted to college football's rigors, participating in 13 games and marking his presence with 6 tackles and 4 stops. His sophomore year saw a significant leap in performance, playing in 10 games, amassing 13 tackles, and showcasing his pass-rushing abilities with 11 total pressures and a sack. The upward trajectory continued through his junior and senior years, culminating in a standout fifth year with 25 tackles, 25 stops, and a notable increase in total pressures to 28, including 2 sacks, across 13 games. This progression reflects a player who not only honed his craft but became a cornerstone of the Longhorns' defense.
  • Classic dominating space-eating run defender. Commands attention with his huge frame, making him a formidable presence against the run and difficult to move off the point of attack.
  • Exhibits superior upper-body strength, enabling him to engage and disengage from blockers with ease and disrupt offensive lines.
  • Efficient at absorbing double-teams, maintaining gap integrity even when facing increased pressure.
  • Demonstrates good burst and leverage off the snap, hinting at potential disruptive capabilities in the backfield.
  • Employs active hands effectively to bat down passes and disrupt passing lanes when unable to reach the quarterback.
  • His strength and technique allow him to be a consistent one-gapper, capable of closing running lanes and anchoring against the run.
  • Boasts a relentless motor and energy, contributing significantly to his ability to finish plays and demand double-teams.
  • Shows glimpses of pass-rushing potential with the ability to employ powerful moves and generate torque against single blockers.

The Mazi Smith Project is not looking good after a year and it all depends if they keep him lightweight or get him back to his college playing weight, but with the departure of starter Jonathan Hankins and Backup Neville Gallimore the Cowboys still need a starting caliber DT that can help in the run game.
Sweat is probably the best run stuffing DT in the Draft and Starts Day 1.

87.
Jaylen Wright
RB | Tennessee
5'10 210 Lbs

In 2023 as a junior Wright saw action in 12 games for the Volunteers. He ran for an outstanding 1010 yards on 136 attempts for an outstanding 7.4 ypc, with 4 TDs, with one fumble. As a receiver he made 22 receptions for 141 yards.

  • Wright runs with violence; he’s capable of thrashing through tacklers, and Wright has the natural balance to withstand contact.
  • He keeps his pads low and consistently falls forward. Unlike most backs his size, he has the lateral movement and stop-start ability to make defenders whiff. He has breakaway speed in the open field.
  • Made Bruce Feldman's Freak's List - ranked #24. He wrote " The 5-11 Wright is up to 200 pounds but displayed some serious juice this offseason, clocking 23.6 mph in practice. Beyond that, Wright vertical-jumped 44 inches and did a 10-8 broad jump."
  • Exhibits patience and decisiveness, allowing blocks to develop before hitting holes with explosive speed.
  • He gets low and rarely absorbs significant contact, and he shows a nice blend of quickness and patience, maximizing his blocking.
  • Proven ability as a receiving threat out of the backfield, adding dimensions to his game.
  • He is a natural playmaker, at his best with the ball in his hands.
  • He shows good vision and good explosion upfield once he plants his foot. Wright has lateral movement skills and enough speed to threaten big plays. He’s excellent in the passing game, capable of flexing out as a receiver and creating mismatches against linebackers, and he’s a solid back in the screen game.
  • Displays impressive burst and acceleration, capable of outrunning defensive angles.
  • Fits a zone system, can sift through oncoming traffic and explode through tiny creases and cutback lanes. Elite, darting stop-and-go acceleration. Dangerous in the open field.

Not sure he is still on the board at 87 but i would love the Pick here. He is a workhorse back than can break tackles and is still very fast and replaces Pollard as the Starter.

174.
Tommy Eichenberg
LB | Ohio State
6'2 235 Lbs

In 2023 as a fifth year senior Eichenberg logged playing time in 10 games and logged a total of 607 snaps for the Buckeyes. He also added decent 57 tackles, 27 assists, and 31 stops. While in coverage Eichenberg made 2 pass breakups, no interceptions. As a pass rusher, he tallied 11 total pressures, which included 8 QB hurries, 2 QB hits, and one sack on the season.
  • Eichenberg can be used as a rangy run defender inside, instinctive when it comes to locating the ball with the quickness to get to it before blockers can react at the second level.
  • He’s rangy and instinctive when he’s looking into the backfield as a zone defender.
  • Has a filled-out frame with good thickness. Plays at full speed at all times with an active motor and determined quickness in pursuit.
  • He has good quickness and an excellent understanding of angles, often beating blockers to the spot.
  • He chases well in pursuit, and Eichenberg has the athleticism to play in space if asked to drop into coverage.
  • Has the combination of size and athleticism worthy of development.
  • Eichenberg has the fluid movement skills and speed to turn and run in coverage against tight ends.

More run help for the LB core. I like though LBs that play with motor. Eichenberg has starting potential and starts in a rotational and ST role.

216.
Cedric Johnson
EDGE | Mississippi
6'3 260 Lbs

In 2023 as a senior Johnson logged playing time in 12 games and logged a total of 526 snaps for the Rebels. He also added 26 tackles, 5 assists, and 19 stops. While in coverage Johnson made 2 pass breakups, no interceptions, and QB rating when targetted of 91.7. As a pass rusher, he tallied 34 total pressures, which included 26 QB hurries, 4 QB hits, and 4 sacks on the season.

  • Flashes nimble feet to chase running backs and mobile quarterbacks to the sideline when lined up at end. Spins off blocks to get back into the play.
  • Fast in a straight line. Excellent wide and .bull rushes when he's first off the snap.
  • Made Bruce Feldman's Freak's List - ranked #41. He wrote "At 6-3, 270, he has just 11.3 percent body fat, and he vertical-jumped 36.5 inches, broad-jumped 10 feet and bench pressed 390 pounds. This offseason, he topped over 20 mph on the GPS and did six pull-ups with a 70-pound belt attachment."
  • Johnson can also win going speed-to-power, with the leg drive to push blockers back.
  • He has a lethal spin move and the pure speed to close quickly.
  • He shows good quickness off the line of scrimmage and flashes the violent hands to win around the edge.
  • Johnson has an explosive first step and converts that short-area speed into power, a capable bull rusher.

DE Rotation as we lost guys in FA.

233.
Walter Rouse
OT | Oklahoma
6'6 315 Lbs

After season's end Rouse transferred to Oklahoma where as a fifth year senior Rouse saw action in 12 games and played a total of 770 snaps for the Sooners. He allowed 4 QB hurries, one QB hit, and one sack while playing at left tackle.

  • Has the natural power to move defenders at the point of attack. Rouse also has the agility and speed to get out in front and land blocks at the second level. He also shows a good understanding of angles when climbing to the second level.
  • Coordinated when moving to the second level as a run blocker, capable of landing blocks on the move.
  • Best on the outside because of his height and athleticism, but is capable of blocking on the move.
  • Effective grappling in the phone booth, with the upper-body strength and strong hands to outbattle defenders. Rouse also shows a good understanding of angles when moving out to the second level
  • He’ll appeal to man-blocking teams, and he’s a fairly high-upside developmental pick when considering his value in the run game.
  • Has the functional strength to hold up against the bull rush, and Rouse shows exceptionally quick and precise hands.

Good potential at LT and Swing Tackle rotation.

244.
Cornelius Johnson
WR | Michigan
6'3 215 Lbs

Cornelius Johnson from Brunswick High School was rated a 4-star recruit by ESPN and handed a 4-star grade by 247 Sports. After high school, Johnson opted to join Michigan.
As a senior in 2022 he played 13 games and had 29 catches for 462 yards for an average of 15.9 yards per catch, 6 TDs, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 142.6.
As a fifth year senior in 2023 he played 13 games and had 42 catches for 567 yards for an average of 13.5 yards per catch, one TD, and an excellent QB rating when targeted of 105.3.

  • Johnson has reliable hands and shows the willingness to make catches in traffic over the middle.
  • He shows good initial quickness off the line of scrimmage, and Johnson has enough strength to be able to consistently escape the jam at the next level. He’s a coordinated hands catcher who effectively tracks the ball downfield.
  • Generally reliable receiver capable of making difficult catches in traffic over the middle or one on one down the sideline.
  • He’s very good in contested-catch situations, using his frame effectively to make plays facing the quarterback. Johnson also shows a knack for high-pointing the ball, consistently outmuscling defensive backs.
  • Strong runner with the ball with enough agility to make defenders miss in the open field.
  • Has a knack for getting open and is a quarterback's best friend - passers just need to toss the ball in his area and he'll come down with it.

Competes for the 4th / 5th WR Role and can play ST too.

This looks like a pretty good Team if healthy.

LB has some depth and allows Parsons to play DE if needed and Bell to move back to Safety.
O-Line looks solid. RB has depth.

DE and WR looks subpar but cant fill anything.

No complaints from me. Think any FA LB would be after the draft. If they draft a guy like Tommy, then I don't see them dipping back into FA for a LB.

Swap Cunningham’s 5mil for a DE instead. I see DE as a much bigger need. The amount of times 3 LB’s will be on the field is like 40% and won’t be surprised if Micah is the 3rd LB a good chunk of that time. Kendricks/Clark/Overshown/5th round rookie/Micah is plenty of depth imo.

Barton is good at 24

I’ve stated my opinion enough on Sweat. He wouldn’t be my choice

However you rank them, I think Wright is pretty clearly top 3 RB in this class. Highly doubt he lasts until the late 3rd, if he does it’s a great pick.

I like most of the late options you chose

Love the Barton, Wright, and Wilson picks. I like Sweat, but worry about his weight & seemingly being a two down player; wouldn't mind a guy like Fiske if available. Wilson is a bit of a pet cat, and wouldn't be surprised if he goes a bit higher than projected. Johnson is intriguing given his prospect pedigree and the fact even receivers like Roman Wilson didn't reach full potential in their offense.

I would sign Peat for 5 M / y but highly doubt he takes that less.

Cunninham i would sign for the 1,5m that he got with the Eagles.

I have some doubts on Sweat too but he was likely the best DT left in the 2nd and after that its quite a drop off and hes cleary the best run stuffer in the Draft and if we need help on the D-Line its against the Run.

Ill take yhis draft and FA but we will go RB rd 1 and LB rd 2
highly doubt it as there is no RB with a 1st Round Grade in the class.

My bet is that they take OL in Round 1 followed by either LB or RB in Round 2.
