First Round only with no Trades.
1. Jaguars
QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
Jax were lucky that the dumb Jets won enough meaningless games in the end so they take the sure fire #1 Pick Trevor Lawrence who might not even turn out to become the best QB of this deep class.
2. Jets
QB Justin Fields, Ohio State
After his dominant performance vs. Clemson and Lawrence its save to say that Fields has all the tools that are needed for a modern day NFL Franchise QB. Lack of Tape might be an issue but the overall tools are there. Jets take the consolation price.
3. Dolphins
OT Penei Sewell, Oregon
Sewell is a generational LT and they are rare to find. Dolphins decide to run with Tua for another season and see if hes all that with petter protection. They came close to the Playoffs and Sewell will not only help Tua but also improve the bad Running Game.
4. Falcons
LB Micah Parsons, PSU
Falcons desperately need help in their Front 7 and Parsons looks to become a Franchise LB with great all around talent who has generational talent skills.
5. Bengals
WR Ja'Marr Chase, LSU
Bengales reunite the College Championship Duo. Chase sitting out this season Post-Burrow was the best he could do to preserve his stock as the best Receiver in the class. Bengals want to keep Burrow happy and Sewell is already off the board.
6. Eagles
WR De'Vonta Smith, Alabama
Eagles lack Weapons on offense all around. They reunite Hurts with Smith who was the best Receiver in College this Season and looks to be a true weapon in the NFL despite size and weight.
7. Lions
TE Kyle Pitts , Florida
I think Lions will try again with Stafford and give him a new weapon. Pitts looks to be a generational TE. Too big and strong for Safeties. Too fast for Linebackers.
8. Panthers
QB Zach Wilson, BYU
Panthers are in desperate need after the failed Minshew Project which was nice in the beginning but turned out its not all that. Bridgewater is only a gap / backup QB so they draft the QB who might turn out to become the best of the class in 5 years time.
9. Broncos
CB Caleb Farley , VT
The Broncos had shaky cornerback play with aging A.J. Bouye as their best outside option. Shoring up the CB Spot with the best CB in the class will improve them.
10. Cowboys
CB Partrick Surtain II, Alabama
Cowboys need help in their very bad secondary and Surtain is the safest option at this point. Between him and Farley is basically not much but maybe projected upside. He comes from a DB NFL Family and has a true dawg and winner mentality. He reunites with Treyvon Diggs.
11. Giants
DE Kwity Paye, Michigan
Paye shot up the Draft Boards recently. Hes a freak of nature with insane Pass Rush Abilites at 270 lbs. The Falcons need to invest heavily in their pass defense (again) in the 2021 draft. They need to hit on someone who can get after the quarterback and dominate physically and athletically against offensive tackles.
12. 49ers
QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State
Lance is slowly climbing back up boards with his massive upside. As more teams see tapes of his one statistically brilliant lone season as a starter (2,786 yards passing, 28 TDs, no INTs, 1,100 yards rushing, 14 TDs) it's harder to ignore the impressive physical and athletic skills he displayed in his first full season of action. The 49ers can get out of Jimmy Garoppolo's contract and needs to shoot for the QB ceiling to better dominate with their array of offensive skill talent.
13. Chargers
OT Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
The Chargers know they have a potentially special QB in Justin Herbert and have some pretty good skill players to support him. But it's imperative they improve their edge pass protection to their already established young franchise passer.
14. Vikings
OT Christian Darrisaw, VT
The Vikings need to think about saving money at left tackle and also replacing so-so Riley Reiff with an upgrade who can help both Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook nicely
15. Patriots
WR Jaylen Waddle, Alabama
Waddle played only four games before his season-ending ankle injury and he still posted 25 catches for 557 yards and 4 TDs. The Patriots have had a rough time with wide receivers except for Jakobi Meyers and needs a big hit at the position.
16. Cardinals
RB Najee Harris, Alabama
The Cardinals lacked a potent RB that can take off running duties from Kyler Murray. Harris is the best RB in the class and shattered all-time records at Bama this Season.
17. Raiders
DE Joseph Ossai, Texas
Raiders struggled on Defense. The Pass Rush was non existent. They add a guy with natural Pass Rush Skills and all the athleticism you want from your edge.
18. Dolphins
RB Travis Etienne , Clemson
Dolphins lacked a Running Game all season long. Giving Tua a real Starting RB with Sewell protecting the Blindside should do wonders for their Offense.
19. Washington
OT Samuel Cosmi, Texas
WFT Defense is already good with young studs but the O-Line is getting old and broke apart. Since Tyler Heinicke might proved to become the Starter. Washington waits for a QB and help him with a good O-Line Talent.
20. Bears
OG Wyatt Davis, Ohio State
Bears need to get more athletic and shore up their inside pass protection while also getting an asset with considerable upside as a run blocker. Davis can be an elite NFL interior blocker and already has showed plenty in the way of paving the way for the Buckeyes' prolific rushing attack before deciding to opt in back into what could be a national-championship winning season.
21. Colts
QB Mac Jones, Alabama
Rivers might retire and even if he plays another season, the Colts need a new Franchise QB. Mac Jones was a nobody before the season but he lead his team to the Championship showing immense clutch Skills. He can do everything and barely makes mistakes.
22. Titans
DE/DT Christian Barmore, Alabama
The Titans need more pass-rush juice after finishing 30th in the NFL in sacks — only ahead of the Bengals and Jaguars. They should also consider outside linebacker in their 3-4, but they can get plenty of extra pop up front here to flank Jeffery Simmons. Barmore has stood out as a inside terror for the Tide.
23. Jets
WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota
Jets lacked Weapons on Offense.Bateman projects as a starting NFL wide receiver after spending the last three seasons in the Minnesota Golden Gophers program. Bateman offers an impressive blend of route running, ball skills and competitive toughness into a frame that should alleviate any concerns about his projection to working on the boundary.
24. Pittsburgh
CB Jaycee Horn, South Carolina
Pittsburgh secondary was trash and it showed in the latter stages of the Season and the embarrassing loss to the Browns, giving up almost 50 Points at home. Horn enters the NFL after three seasons in the SEC where he demonstrated consistent growth. After primarily playing in the slot in 2018, Horn played out wide in 2019 and 2020 where he projects best in the NFL. Horn has a long and stocky frame that is built for competing with X-receivers in the NFL. His size, length, and physicality show up in coverage where he is highly disruptive in press and ultra competitive at the catch point.
25. Jacksonville
OT Alex Leatherwood, Alabama
Jacksonville needs to protect Lawrence and Leatherwood has the tools to Start Day 1. Leatherwood is a prospect that’s had experience at both guard and offensive tackle. Containing a towering and filled-out frame in many areas, he has adequate strength as a run blocker as he’s able to attach and drive defenders out of desired areas.
26. Browns
DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami
Rousseau produced 19.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks in 2019, which is the last exposure we have of him playing college football as he opted out of the 2020 season and declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. His Game is still underdeveloped which is the only reason hes not drafted higher. Browns need to add someone on the opposite of Myles Garrett.
27. Bucs
DE Azeez Ojulari, Georgia
Bucs need Defense. Plain and simple. Their offense is stacked already. But the D-Line needs work. . He will align either in a 2-point or 3-point stance and has played on all three downs for their defense. He plays with good reactive athleticism when out on the edge and demonstrates good quickness, effort, and body control.
28. Ravens
OG Alijah Vera-Tucker, USC
Ravens need help on their O-Line to protect Lamar and open running lanes for him. He has exceptional athleticism, as evidenced by his balance and body control in his pass set. He is an easy mover who demonstrates his athleticism in the passing game, particularly in his kick slide. He plays with very good competitiveness when he is bull rushed. In the run game, he comes off the ball hard to strike and he excels by getting his body in favorable positions
29. Saints
LB Jeremiah Owusu - Koramoah, Notre Dame
Saints more than anything need to revamp their LBs. QB is a big need to after Brees likely retired but they are too far down this year and theres talk about Deshawn Watson being traded to the Saints.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah projects as an impact defender at the NFL level. There’s an undeniable level of explosion to his game that helps Owusu-Koramoah mask the limitations of his game on account of his stature.
30. Bills
OT Jalen Mayfield, Michigan
Bills need to protect Josh Allen. The Defense is already stacked. Jalen Mayfield projects as a high-quality starting offensive lineman at the NFL level. He’s got ample size and athleticism to play in space in pass protection and with just two years of starting experience under his belt, Mayfield is only going to continue to get better with more repetitions
31. Packers
WR Terrace Marshall Jr., LSU
In 2019, LSU wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. was “the other guy” in a historic Tigers offense that featured dynamic talents at receiver in Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson. With neither Chase nor Jefferson in the mix in 2020, it was Marshall’s chance to shine and he took full advantage. In seven games in 2020, Marshall averaged more than 100 receiving yards per game and hauled in double-digit touchdown receptions for the second consecutive season. Packers need weapons for A-Rod.
32. Chiefs
LB Zaven Collins, Tulsa
After a high school career in which Zaven Collins was a four-year starter at quarterback and linebacker/safety, Tulsa was the only Division I program to offer him a scholarship. He ended his college career by claiming the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is awarded to the nation’s best defensive player. Collins offers an exciting blend of size, length, power, football intelligence, and versatility that makes him a dynamic prospect for the NFL.
