What say you? Was Kyle Juszczyk lined up on the line of scrimmage or not?

Funny thing is Kittle was not even supposed to be running a route on this play. Hmm…

“I actually wasn’t even in the progression and he still found me,” Kittle said.

Purdy said Kittle’s ability to find space and play schoolyard football iis one of his favorite things about the veteran TE.

“Kittle, he wasn’t supposed to run down the field like that but he felt space,” Purdy said. “That’s what I love about him.”

Even if he wasn't, do the Cowboys ever come out on the positive side of officials' judgment calls?

Nope.

lol it wasn’t the play design. He even said after the game he was supposed to stay in and block on that play.

Probably because, ya know, he was an ineligible receiver lol
Did he say he was supposed to be ineligible?

Someone on our team should have said something before the next snap, so still our fault.

There's another thread started by @America's Cowboy , I think, stating that he was covered up at the LoS.
The FB was just the slightest tweak behind Kittle at the LOS. I believe what the (Ex Packer?) said in that is was a purposeful design to mess up the Cowboys coverage and hope the Ref didn't throw the flag. It worked. I wish they ran the old 1 yard and a cloud of dust play.

Nah he was ineligible that should have been a flag but we know they wasn't going to call that unless the Cowboys did it. We were flagged constantly that game. Still had a chance to win if Dak just showed up and played the game. But this should have been a flag.

Someone said in that other thread that similarly the refs give a little leeway for alignment, just like this guy mentioned about the tackles being further back on the corners so they aren't always exact and as was the case with Tolbert's offensive offsides penalty this year, the refs even give you warnings before they flag you. I was trying to post this in the other thread the other day as I looked through the highlights video and found this on the Cowboys. It looks like Lamb's foot is in the neutral zone at this snap and is a full yard ahead of Gallup on the opposite side and 2 yards(!) ahead of Smith at tackle on the same side who isn't even cheating back as allowed. All of them are supposed to be "on the line." No flag. My opinion is refs give a little leeway on alignment as this guy mentioned.
