Give me a case both for and against the players listed. Im going to do six players instead of four this time. Try to do at least four

First two are going to be 1st round guys on both sides of the ball

- Zay Flowers, WR BC

- Calijah Kancey, DT Pitt

Next two are 2nd round guys on both sides of the ball

- Cody Mauch, OT/OG North Dakota State

- Keele Ringo, CB Georgia

Next 3 are 3rd round guys on both sides of the ball

- Jaquelin Roy, DT LSU

- Chase Brown, HB, Syracuse

zay:
For - we need more speed and playmaking ability at WR and we need more long term certainty at the position. While most WR needy teams can use his speed and playmaking Dallas is in a favorable spot in that they have 3 proven vet WRs that would allow us to bring Zay along slowly and only use him for what he’s great at versus him having to be high volume out of the gate.
Against - we really need separators at wr and while Zay has incredible movement skills, he doesn’t consistently get as open as you would expect for a 1st rd receiver with his diminutive size… that’s on top of the drop rate.

Kancey:
For - DT is probably our weakest position and he’s a top 20 prospect in the class. If he’s there at 26 we should feel lucky. Also, his speed and agility on the interior with Parsons/Williams’ speed off the edges would be an incredible site to see on passing downs.
Against - our D needs to be more physical. Does that point toward using your first on a really undersized DT?

Mauch:
For - his agility and ability to make reach blocks in space would be special in our run blocking scheme. He and Zack would give LBs fits. His versatility would also show up when we inevitably lose a couple linemen to injury.
Against - he would likely start out at LG and I worry he will struggle with power early on (like C. Williams did). He and Biadasz side by side could be rough against some of the DTs in the NFC East.

Ringo:
For - what he does well (defending the vertical tree with press ability and recovery speed) we really value while the things he’s poor at (covering quicker receivers on in-breaking routes) is somewhat covered up by our scheme. Plus he’s only 20. Some of the higher rated corners in this class are not only less athletic but are also 3 years older than him.
Against - some of his film is outright sloppy. Also, unlike a lot of the other corners that are man press specialists that win with speed/size/strength, Ringo has a very short wingspan that’s a troubling physical trait considering his play style. I also don’t know he’s better than Trice or D. Rush (who are similar stylistically and could be avail at 90).

  • 1st round:
    • Zay Flowers, WR BC
    • Con
      • A 1st round WR needs to project to unquestioned #1 WR ability.
      • I don't know if Flowers meets that requirement.
    • Pro
      • Would be a nice #2 type WR.
      • Would add a dynamic type offensive player which they needed more of in 2022.

    • Calijah Kancey, DT Pitt
    • Con
      • Too much risk. A 1st round DT must be able to play both the run & pass.
      • Small with very short arms.
      • How much better is he as a pass rusher than using a DE at DT?
    • Pro
      • Aaron Donald defied the odds to some extent regarding size.

  • 2nd round:
    • Cody Mauch, OT/OG North Dakota State
      • Con
        • Small. Short arms.
        • Lacks power.
      • Pro
        • Fans/media would love him.He would be a star on Hard Knocks with his goofy personality.

    • Keele Ringo, CB Georgia
      • Con
        • Inconsistent in game footage.Small wingspan and small hands.Traits type pick (HT/WT/Forty) but pedestrian Vert/SS/3-cone.
      • Pro
        • The largest (by weight) CB in this draft but he still ran a 4.36 forty.
        • Good height (6-2).
        • Not yet 21 years old.

  • 3rd round:
    • Jaquelin Roy, DT LSU
    • Con
      • A round or two too early.
      • Lacks NFL 3tech quickness and has limited lateral agility.
      • Lacks NFL 1tech size (305 pounds at combine. 297 pounds at pro day).
      • Short-ish arms.
    • Pro
      • Strong. Plays with some violence when using his strong upper body to shed blocks.
      • High effort player. Reported to have played a high snap count percentage.
      • Good tackle stats in college.

  • Chase Brown, HB, Illinois Syracuse
  • Con
    • 5 fumbles in 2022
    • Suffered two Grade-2 AC sprains as a junior.
    • A round early.
  • Pro
    • Solid build packing 209 pounds onto a 5-9 frame.
    • Large Hands (10"). Only of the top 34 RBs with larger hands.
    • Best Vert and Broad jump of any RB in this draft.
    • Only 1 RB with a faster ten-yard time.
    • Senior Bowl: Voted RB practice player of the week (National Team).
    • Illinois 2nd all-time leading rusher.
    • Good catching the ball.

- Zay Flowers, WR BC
Too little. Good player but I'm not wowed by him. Someone compared him to Deebo Samuel and I laughed. He's not that guy at all. 2nd round for me.
- Calijah Kancey, DT Pitt
Too little. He's an Aaron Donald Halloween costume. I think NFL offensive linemen are going to get their hands on him and he's going to be spinning his wheels.
Cody Mauch, OT/OG North Dakota State
Good at a lot of things, not great at any. I don't dislike him at all. He's the type of NFL Guard that will play 10 plus years. NFL weight room will be big for him.

- Keele Ringo, CB Georgia
Amazing athlete who I have known since he was a sophomore in high school. He may have peaked too soon because he never took that next step at Georgia. His technique needs a ton of work.
- Jaquelin Roy, DT LSU
Meh. Not awful, not especially good for me.
- Chase Brown, HB, Syracuse
Quality Day 3 RB. Does he come with his brother? I think he will be a very dependable RB3 or maybe RB2 for an NFL team the next 3 or 4 years.

Chase brown is my least favorite back. I always want the young fresh back. Bijan, Izzy, Miller one of those 3 and I’m happy
